Great Hotel

Posted Oct 11, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff
Location: About 15 minutes walk out of the centre of Belfast.
Great hotel just a short walking distance out of city centre. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable and the room was well stocked with tea and coffee. Lots of restaurants and eating places very close by so didnt need to go into city centre to eat. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel, nice room, super staff

Posted Jun 5, 2017
Pros: Staff, breakfast, very nice room
Cons: Bar or small "store" offering water, wine, snacks, etc.
Location: Location is safe and fairly quiet, about a 15-20 minute walk to city center, Restaurants, quick food, mini markets are just down the street.
We loved our stay at Tara Lodge. The room was large and had a nespresso, a kettle and a small fridge. The staff is fabulous - super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is made-to-order, really nice and presented very well. The hotel is close to the university but still quite walkable to city center. The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant (other than at breakfast), but there are many options very close by. We actually stayed an extra night and would definitely stay at Tara Lodge again - it was a great value.

Upbeat and particularly welcoming and efficient staff, lovely room in excellent condition, plenty of space, extremely comfortable bed, great shower. Very nicely appointed breakfast room with tasty breakfast choices, again terrific staff there too. Only a couple of blocks from the uni, botanic gardens and museum (closed Mondays.)

Tara Hotel

Posted Dec 16, 2016
Pros: location, parking, near a good restaurant, staff very friendly, excellent room
stayed here overnight whilst on a business trip to the area. Hadn't realised it was quite so far from the city centre, but that didn't really matter, particularly as there was a very good restaurant within a short walk away. it was great to have free parking and breakfast included in the cost of the room. Will definitely be staying here again.

Ideal for city break and free parking

Posted Dec 11, 2016
travelled to Belfast for xmas and stayed in the Tara lodge. Free parking was a massive bonus for a city hotel. About 20mins walk to city centre. Lovely Italian restaurant down the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lovely Roisin. Lovely breakfast and nothing to fault really. Keep up the good work!
