Very clean motel.

A few things that could be Improve d is the lighting, more power points, and the hair dryer not in a good place, other than that a very clean motel.

Thank you for sharing your views on the redesign of our property we appreciate the feedback. There are 12 power points in each 30m2 room with 6 conveniently located to recharge ipads, phones and run other devices, not sure how many more are needed. The hair dryer is located in close proximity to the bathroom mirror.

family room queenstown

Pros: The room was comfortable. However for a cold wet location a warm room for your arrival would be welcoming.
Cons: Honesty about rates would be appreciated. I would advice people close to me not to stay. Just for the dishonesty factor.
Location: Location is lovely. The scenic rail is worth the look. Locals pleasant but reminded me of a third rate country reliant on deception to make a living.
The room was pleasant. However the price was not the price advertised. Still good price but upsetting when you find out the going rate.

Your comments are unfounded and incorrect. You booked a FAMILY. You did not select the prepayment choices which may have provided lower room rates. There is no "cheaper" FAMILY room rate. You paid the advertised rate on arrival. If you believed a different rate should have been applied why was this not raised during the time you stayed. But thank you for the opportunity in allowing us to review your stay, when entering the room after your departure it was found by our staff to be in a disgraceful state; food smeared over carpets, walls and bed coverings, and a huge amount of trash left behind, it certainly left our staff speculating that they hadn't seen rooms treated so badly before - quite an achievement!!

We arrived very late at night but found the room ready & exactly what we needed after 4 hours of driving. We didn't have dinner the night before but the hearty breakfast we had the next morning definitely prepared us for the day. Hotel owner, Bernie, was very helpful and accommodating.

A little old but comfortable.

Nice friendly staff and clean rooms. The motel is a bit tired but comfortable. It is further from the town centre of Queenstown than other motels but with that comes quietness. Recommended.

Great motel truly comfortable

After a very long drive from Port Arthur the Comfort Inn had everything we wanted it was clean smelt nice lovely little kitchen roomy bathroom comfy beds nice linen and quiet...the staff were very helpful and friendly..highly recommend to stay there

Great hotel in a lovely town

Pros: Convenient. Clean. Quiet.
I am so glad we decided to stop in at Queenstown. It was a quiet little town with its own charm. Unfortunately we got there too early for the check in, but that gave us a chance to enjoy The Iron Blow and some of the town. After check in, it all went smoothly. The room was clean, cosy and set up well. The attached restaurant was even better. I had the black russian pie and the crust and accompanying chips were amazing. Thank god we didn't have to walk far for good food.

Thank you for the feedback. We have been very busy lately, to ensure we have nothing but the cleanest rooms we need all the the time up to 2pm to ensure we are satisfied the room will meet the standard travelling visitors are looking for.

Friendly place to stay

Old 70 style motel, but clean and well updated. Very friendly welcome and service. Great onsite meals at not to bad cost.

Our motel was actually built in the 80's and we have done a lot in recent times to refresh the rooms and improve the external appearance in keeping with the stunning scenery that surrounds this West Coast Wilderness region
