Other than the view and convenience of the hotel to the main street, one block back, the benefits of staying here stop there!
To access our room on the first floor which faced the front of the hotel, room 10, we had to walk up a slopey footpath along the side of the building and then climb stairs to access at rear.
The room was very small and basic. The refrigerator froze the milk and wasn't working properly. It is the smallest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel stay with the shower being a triangle shape. The shower was so small and the water pressure just slightly more than a dribble. To get hot water we had to run the shower for some minutes and on our last day the water pressure just stopped whilst I was in the shower.
The staff are so friendly on a positive, when I mentioned about the shower I was told that the hotel is going to be closed for renovation next year. Whilst we had a great view if the lake the balcony was small.
Overall if it wasn't for the view and location of this hotel we would have looked for somewhere else to stay!

We were sad to hear you experienced some issues with the water pressure during your stay though and can see from the night logs, that you spoke with maintenance in the evening and they mentioned they would call out a plumber asap, as were not sure what the problem was, as other rooms were not affected - we are currently waiting to get a full plumbers report and would like to apologise again for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, as we were fully booked, we were unable to move you to another room but would have been more than happy to assist in relocating you elsewhere if required.
With regard to your comment about the stairs; there are a number of stairs to the first floor where the Lake view rooms are located and we do not have a lift, but our staff are always happy to assist with luggage. We appreciate this may not suit everyone, but we are confident that the views make up for the effort!
Our Head housekeeper has checked the fridge today and it was simply turned up a little high, so we have turned it down to cool rather than cold.
Again, we do welcome feedback from our guests as we are keen to assist wherever we can as quickly as we can to ensure you have a comfortable and happy stay with us.
