Wi-Fi Slows As 2G, only 0.5MB/S. Poor phone signals, you could do nothing in the room. SERVICE is terrible, nobody actually resolved our problems at all, location is on the mountain which required a lot effort to climb.

The staff in the restaurant were amazing, polite, funny and professional. A joy to have dinner with. The food was very good. Unfortunately the staff at reception were not so exciting. On arriving the staff were unwelcoming, poor communication and limited interaction with guests. The hallway to the carpark needs a good clean and a paint. The room key sensor to the carpark roller door is difficult to reach, a redesign is needed.

Very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms a good size and beds comfortable. However the breakfast really lets it down. Poor selection compared with other 4.5* hotels. The food was only Luke warm, pastry selection was very poor and cheap brought in muffins. No bread selection other than packet brown or white. Only 3 types of cereal and no granola. Poor cooked selection, Scrambled eggs were nearly raw, chewy cold bacon, frankfurter sausage again cold and looked un appetising , tomatoes , beans and hash browns. All on the cold side. When you consider what lovely food is served in the cafes around Queenstown I’d recommend going into town for breakfast. Far wider choice and cheaper also looks far more palatable than the hotel breakfast. Breakfast definitely not worth paying an extra $40 for or even the $35 if you get it on offer.

Hi Rachael, Thank you for your feedback. We looked into your comments and tried understanding the issue. We understand you had two consecutive reservations with us and wanted to stay in the same room. However, both your bookings were made for two different room categories. We put the comfort of our guests on priority and when there are rooms available we always make sure the guest does not have to go through the hassle of changing rooms. We were sold out on the days you were staying with us and continuing in the same room was not possible as there were other bookings in place for the same. When you requested us to accommodate you in the same room, we unfortunately had to decline due to non availability. We understand this was not up to your expectations and was disappointing. We can assure you that our staff strives hard to make our guests have a great stay and if you felt there still was room for improvement, by all means your feedback will be paramount to us in understanding where we can do better. I know there have been mixed reviews, but our experience was very good. We had a nice renovated room that overlooked the garden. It's in a good location if walking down to the main CBD. It is on the top of the hill, so could be challenging for some. We were lucky with parking as we were advised that there were limited spots. We didn't have any trouble parking, but the area around the hotel is under construction which could have caused an issue if there wasn't a spot available in the hotel. Laundry area was nice and the machines were quick and affordable. I can't speak to the gym areas as it was under renovation when we were there. Overall, I enjoyed being within walking distance of everything and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Parking is not for free. The bed sheets have stains. Toilet and bathroom are very new condition. But air condition is very old and hard to control.

The hotel is old and tired and has not been updated since the 1980's. There is an extreme lack of power plugs available in the rooms. In todays age everything we own needs to be charged and the rooms have very few plugs, you had to unplug things like the TV to be able to charge your devices. The final straw was our room was not serviced at all and when I went to reception to ask if this could be done the guy at reception was extremely rude. The room was very expensive and we got nothing for our money. We might as well have stayed in a backpackers.

When you raised the issue of the room not being serviced, we immediately apologized for the error and offered to service the room, however you denied this solution and just requested for the amenities that you needed. When you again approached the reception desk about the same issue later, we apologized multiple times and offered to service the room which you agreed to. We did try to provide the same solution to you earlier however you denied.We understand that your expectations were not met and will definitely take this as a feedback to improve on what we do. We were given a warm welcome after a long drive at the reception. The room was very spacious and comfortably located at walkable distance from all the tourist spots of Queenstown.

Anything is okay, accept hard to find parking durning on new year days, not sure other times if same of difficult to find parking. Finding a parking is a nightmare, especially in day time, the town is crazy busy.

WiFi does not work, location is away from main spot by distance it’s short but to get back to hotel there is a steep road . So for those who are not having cars should opt for any other hotel

We discourage patrons to take their vehicles unless neccessary as parking can be a tricky situation in the center. Also there are alternative routes to and from the hotel where you avoid the steep slope at Stanley street. The next time you stay with us, please speak to the reception and we can guide you. Regards

Our check in time starts at 1400 hrs and you tried to check in at 1030 which was just after our check outs. We had a busy check out day and we tried our best to get you in to your room as soon as possible. You are a Expedia VIP member however, the upgrades with this are always subject to availability and there was no mention of this during check in or on your booking. When this was brought to our attention, we promptly moved you into a different upgraded room which was available. It was very clean and modern and the room was beautiful. I recommend paying the few extra bucks for the newer rooms because they are much nicer! The main negative is that the wifi was incredibly slow in the rooms, I couldn’t even load my email to check about booking information. In the lobby it seemed fine but as soon as you enter your room it is bad. I also called the tourism center in town since I couldn’t book online and just making that call cost 50 dollars even though it was local.
