Pleasant stay

Posted Apr 22, 2017
Our room was very spacious and quiet. The bathroom was clean and towels regularly supplied. The location is walkable. About a 10 minute walk to central Queenstown. The hotel seems old and a bit dated but still a good choice.

Close to town but a bit tired

Posted Apr 7, 2017
This hotel is in a good location. Staff are great, but the hotel is in need of a renovation. Basic things such as free wifi is unavailable. The hotel has good potential. Room was a Superior Double. The bed was amazing.

Lovely hotel - but if a climb from town tho....

We enjoyed out stay and the hotel was lovely but would probably look for something nearer to town next time.

Close to the city

Posted Mar 28, 2017
The location of this hotel is ideal but it is tired and should consider updating the rooms. The carpets are worn and the bathrooms are a bit gaudy. Would reconsider staying here again.

Comfortable hotel handy to lakeside and town

Posted Mar 16, 2017
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Location: Water sports/adventure activities galore. We liked the gondola up the mountain, would try the steamboat on the lake next time.
The hotel reception staff were courteous and efficient. The barman on duty for the afternoon went out of his way to set us up for a lunchtime snack in the garden - it was a lovely sunny day, too nice to be inside. Some rooms are a long way from the lobby, worth getting help with luggage. Getting into town is via a short ride in the hotel shuttle bus, which runs hourly, or via a pleasant lakeside walk (if time allows - and once you get across the busy road) The restaurant food was excellent first night, not so good the second. Buffet breakfast excellent.

Walk or shuttle to toen

Posted Jan 23, 2017
The hotel is a brief walk to town (or you can use the shuttle). Well appointed and tidy the odd shape means some floors are below the reception. Given the stunning views in Queenstown the location doesn't make the most of the opportunity. This is a good place to stay but some other properties make the most of the scenery.

A great hotel to stay in.... friendly staff, happy to assist. Room service excellent and not overpriced .... facilities exceptionally clean and comfortable. Generous breakfasts, quest laundry facilities .... we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay... walking distance to city centre....
