Perfect Location on the LakePosted Mar 15, 2018
Loved staying here right on the Lake. Was easy to walk everywhere in town, to the botanical gardens, and of course, the beach right in front. The rooms were clean and had a good amount of space. When I come back to Queenstown, this will be my first choice!

Wonderful experiencePosted Feb 11, 2018
The staff were wonderful and friendly right from the moment we stepped in the door. While we were waiting to check in the General Manager himself welcomed us and wished us a pleasant stay. Every staff member we dealt with was so pleasant, interested and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. It had that "family" feeling. The hotel is situated in arguably the best site in Queenstown. It is right in the heart of the town on the lake edge. It is a short walk to fantastic restaurants and bars. Some areas of the internal decor could do with refreshing/updating e.g. carpets on Level 4 corridor. However, everything was very clean and tidy. The hotel breakfast is fantastic and good value. It is as good as any hotel breakfast I have experienced. The food was fresh, prsented beautifully and there was plenty of choice for a western style menu although they did have some Asian foods on offer such as Conjee and Miso soup. Overall we were entirely satisfied with our stay and will definantly be back to Novotel Lakeside.

One night stay in QueenstownPosted Feb 6, 2018
Cons: Checkouts service
Location: Close to town and lake front.
Friendly staff. Small to no vanity in bathroom nowhere to hang clothes. Good vale5 service but slow checkout service. Had 11am checkout but breakfast in restaurant finished at 10.30. Bit mis aligned. Ideal location though with easy flat walk to town centre and lakefront.

Best location in town!!Posted Jan 3, 2018
Stayed here for it's central location which is fantastic & close to everything: shops, bars, restaurants, beach, lake, playground, botanic gardens... Had a one bed lakefront apartment- great having the extra room (lounge & kitchenette) as the other guest bedrooms are quite small. Definitely recommend the lake view rooms although balconies are a bit narrow in whole hotel. Staff friendly & good breakfast & room service. Would definitely stay there again :-))

So close to everything and view of the lakePosted Dec 28, 2017
Pros: We loved the excellent service, the food, the location on flat ground and the spotless room. Housekeeping staff were brilliant. Bed was so comfy.
Cons: Now I’m scratching my head because we couldn’t fault anything during our stay
Location: Close to everything. Try breakfast at the Captains Table and dinner at Japanese Hakira both in the mall. Plenty of sports clothing shops
We spent 6 days here over Christmas and had the most amazing time. We wanted time away from the stress of Melbourne and work and to feel comfortable to come and go where we stayed. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was a problem. We booked for the Christmas buffet dinner which was really good and really felt as if we were at home. We spent the days wandering along by the lake, trying different restaurants (and there is a huge choice) and going for drives to Arrowtown, Te Anau and Queenstown as a whole . The other side of the lake is more residential with the fabulous Queenstown golf club , yacht club and tennis club. It’s worth a drive to take photos of the lake and Queenstown tourist area across the lake. We also visited Jacks Point golf course. A must for the golfing enthusiasts.

Good locationPosted Dec 27, 2017
Good visit, unfortunately we had an unexpected visitor during the night when reception issued a room key for our room to a tour group that checked in.

Location & Assurance to Good ServicePosted Dec 25, 2017
Pros: Team readiness to help and quality of room.
Cons: Basic amenities like water, tea bags, fruits can be added advantage. Although I dont think they can do much about parking space in the hotel.
Location: Very central
Altogether a good stay and would send more people to stay. But basic replenishment like water was not done every day which was quite surprising for a 4* star Novotel Brand. Parking is paid and not in Hotel premises hence again a challenge.
