First night lost power 😖 Day 2 find out NO place to eat as cafe is closed . For travelers not a good thing . I will say beach is beautiful but is about a 1/2 mile walk from hotel .

Good dayWe regret that you did not enjoy your stay in our facilities.The suspension of electricity in the area (not just the hotel) was for a short period of 35 minutes.The distance from the hotel to the beach is 50 meters.As for the restaurant, it closes once a week, we have more options in the area and some of them even offer home delivery.We would really have liked to know these details before your departure so that we could provide you with help and a possible solution and not after your stay.

Safe and secure parking lot, monitored. Friendly staff. Very clean. Dining room at night had really good food and good prices. Nice cooked breakfast included. Older hotel. but quite nice. Room door knobs and locks could use new ones but perfect location for fishing in around Quepos or Parrita. and Herradura. Good restaurants right up the road in Esterrilla .

3 stars at best.
The room was not as expected. Booked 2 queen and instead received 1king and a loft with 2 single beds. The loft was too warm for sleeping and the air conditioner was blowing into our faces in the king bed and was not comfortable. It was already dusk and too late to change hotels. Daniel was very kind at front desk but couldn’t do anything for us.

Beautiful and clean with attention to detail, such as artfully folded towels. Large pool shaded by native trees, even at midday. Generous breakfast included. Convenient dining on the premises that stays open late. A short walk to the beach without Jacó’s crowds. Excellent bilingual service. As a U.S. expat in Costa Rica, I travel all the time. I highly recommend Hotel Playa Bejuco for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway.

Hotel provides easy access to the nearby beach, it has a nice pool, decent size clean rooms and a good restaurant Staff are pleasant and helpful. This property needs some investment in maintenance primarily around the pool area (cracked/missing tiles). For us without transportation it would have been helpful to have some kind of shuttle to get to and from the main road with our luggage, and rental bikes to get around the area. All in all though it is a good spot for a quiet stay away from the noise of Jaco, and places such as Manuel Antonio park or Rainmaker could be reached by car. Good value for money.

Perfect if you just want to relax in paradise. If you want action and crowds , go somewhere else. Watch the sun come up and go down without changing your location on the beach. Everything about this place is awesome.

Decent hotel by a quiet beach
Good location, friendly staff, good food. The property could use some updates in style and comfort, especially in beds and seating. Water pressure was ok, but the deep soaking tub advertised is not useful if they don't supply a drain stopper (we asked to get one and were told no). The two restaurants are really one above for dinners with a view, downstairs for breakfast and lunch. The included breakfast was good with six choices, and served promptly. We had one issue with the air conditioner, which they fixed very quickly. The pool was kept very clean, but is not large. Depth for the adult pool is too deep for children, but they can use the smaller pool.

Years after Europe and North America are nuked this property will still be standing and the perfect location for the jungle rebels who will be fighting to preserve their sanity because they have water filters and the structure is largely made of concrete.

A little dated but nice property. Nice pool, good rooms, great staff. ONLY PROBLEM: there are no blackout curtains so the room is super bright since around 5am (sunrise) and from the front of the room all night due to the hallway's light which may make it impossible to have a good sleep for some people. Breakfast is good with good variety also the restaurant for lunch and dinner with affordable prices.

Nice Quiet Hotel
Lovely one-night stay here on way up from Osa to Nicoya Peninsula. The room was clean and comfortable. What was most impressive was the friendliness of the staff. I had to leave early before the included breakfast time, and they took the effort to pack up some food to go. Beyond excellent customer service! A few details in the room could be updated, but overall a nice experience. I would stay here again! Family friendly and quiet which I appreciated.

Hotel needs upgrades
Great location; view of beach is excellent. The hotel room was not the standard we expected. Mattress was uncomfortable. There are no drawers or shelves to put clothes for a week stay. Bathroom is not good. Too short shower curtain; water splashes everywhere. Tile grout is in need of replacement. Sink is too shallow and water spashes everywhere. Toilet does not flush well; takes 2 or 3 tries to flush everything down. Staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Restaurant has great dinners and breakfast is well done. We left after 3 days because we wanted a place closer to activities we wanted; we were willing to give up 3 days of prepaid hotel service to find a hotel more conveniently located near tourist attractions and with better conditions. Overall, it’s a lovely location and great layout, but in need of many upgrades.

The staff at Hotel Playa Bejuco were courteous, helpful, and professional and spoke English for those of us who aren't up to snuff on our Español. The rooms were very nice and the photos really don't do this spot justice. The hot tub is not hot but it may just be out of service at the moment. The beach, Bejuco, is a short walk away and very few people (compared to other beaches in the area) frequent this beach. The beach is also very family friendly with long shallow surf that kids can go out in and play without it dropping off suddenly or creating heavy surf. Highly recommend it and hope to return again someday.
