Great Location!

Posted Mar 30, 2017
El Serafin Hotel Boutique welcomes you with personal attention and a tequila if you're so inclined! In the Centro Historico District the area is awash with beautiful squares surrounded by cafes, artists' markets and live music. The 300 year old building is an attraction itself having had former lives as a private residence, convent and bordello. The staff take on every problem you encounter as their own. Bed was very firm. Highly recommend!

From our arrival, we were treated like royalty. Their service was by far the best we received. Thanks to the entire team for their hospitality.

Nice hotel close to everything!

Staff was wonderful and very attentive to whatever we needed. Our breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit everyday. It was delivered exactly when we asked for it at our room. Room was very nice and comfortable. Loved the sound of the fountains as we fell asleep. Would recommend highly!

Beautiful Hotel

Posted Aug 24, 2016
Pros: My room and the décor of the hotel.
Cons: Nothing, awesome hotel and staff.
Location: Lots of shopping and historic streets and buildings.
The staff was awesome and the ambiance was outstanding. A warm welcome and early check-in was found upon arrival. Breakfast is in room and was a little lite but, no issues there really... I'm paying for a room, not a meal. Parking options are good but not on site. There is a space for loading and unloading a vehicle out front that you can leave your car in and to which a service will come get the vehicle and park it overnight but be weary of the hours of the service. If you need the car before 7am or after 10pm, then just self park using the parking deck located half a block away under the city fountain/in front of the Grand Hotel. Both parking options are reasonably priced.

Very cool hotel, the only problem was the wifi didn't work when I was in my room (it worked everywhere else). Overall I recommend this hotel.

Excellent location close to downtown walking area.

Posted Apr 27, 2016
Pros: The location was perfect!
Cons: Better bread for breakfast..the toast was cold. Perhaps some type of buns.
We were made most welcome, offered a free beer upon arrival. The property is beautiful..an old mansion that has been modified to work as a boutique hotel. Continental Breakfast is brought to the room at the time you choose. We had to leave very early and the coffee we requested was brought to our room on time. The overall service was excellent! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the downtown area of Queretero.

Great for Tourists, not for travelers

Posted Mar 30, 2016
Pros: Lovely period charm and most gracious staff.
Cons: see above
Location: see above
We loved this hotel, its historic ambience and staff. But we wanted to stay in a place with an airport shuttle closer to the airport. It's about 35 minutes, and costs 300 Pesos for a regular TAXI. Great for tourists interested in the town's history....good restaurants in the Plaza de Armes in walking distance.
