Well Located

Excellent staff who always did their best to assist. My room was spacious, comfortable, clean, modern room. Good shower and bathtub. A/C worked well. Appreciated the in-room safe. Buffet breakfast is very nice if included with your room. Rather pricey if not. The sauna is good. Spa services are provided in a very basic space that is quite cramped but I had an excellent massage. Pedicure was good, albeit awkward while perched on the edge of the massage table with room only to each side of me for the lady working on my feet. NH is located beside the Swiss Hotel, there are always lots of taxis waiting and good restaurants of many different tastes and types within essy walking distance. 10 to 15 minute walk to Plaza Foch where many tour buses pick up as well as a hop on hop off bus. A taxi to the Historic part of the City averages $3 to $5. The down side is traffic noise. Car alarms go off on a regular basis but usually quiet down after midnight.

Awesome hotel. Good for people doing business .

The room was so clean.....the sheets are immaculate (white color with no spots, press with no wrinkles), the hotel staff were friendly, the food (buffet) during breakfast was good with a variety of choices.

Really nice hotel. However not family friendly.

This is an incredibly nice hotel. We only spent a night there. Staff was very friendly, rooms clean. We got this really nice complimentary drink during check-in. Note there is no heater so bundle up during the Ecuadorian winter. Our biggest issue was contrary to what we booked there are no double queen or double full rooms. The only multi-bed rooms have queen and twin. So if you have a family of four this may not work. Our kids had to share a twin bed. That was not the bad part. The worst for us was they charged an extra $15 for each kid as they seem to cater more to couples. What hotel charges by the number of guest for the same room!!?? That didn't sour our stay though. It was just adequate for our stopover night in the city of Quito.

Good Location

Pros: Good breakfast, pillows are comfortable
Cons: They need to check on their blind, they are getting old.
Location: Its close to everything. There is a Pharmacy on the corner. There are some good restaurants around
The lobby has a good place to meet your friends or if you need to meet with anyone they are good about letting you. There is nothing wrong with the hotel. This is cheaper in price than Marriott but still a good hotel. :)

Excellent Choice

Pros: Excellent guest relations staff. Great service.
Location: This is a great location, many restaurants nearby, easy access to the malls, taxi service is cheap and always available.
We were near everything we needed. We had business at the World Trade Center and it was next door. The staff was very helpful and provided excellent services to make our experience as pleasant as possible. My wife had a problem with altitude sickness and we were provided with oxygen therapy and a lot of personal attention.

The service was great, but it doesn't not come without a price. In fact, it's quite expensive, and they charge for every nickel and dime. Airport shuttle is not free, and they charge 35 usd, when it costs only 25 usd for a regular taxi. You are only given one bottle of water with no kettle. Continental breakfast is 17 usd when you can have dinner for the same price as a dinner at one of quitos best restaurants.

Older but nice, clean hotel in a great location

Pros: Comfort and common sense-designed rooms. Great location.
Cons: Lobby, gym and bar.
Location: The hotel is located in a very central location close to Quicentro Mall, nice restaurants, bars, banks and parks.
This hotel was awesome. The room was clean and very comfortable. Everything seems to be designed with common sense. The lobby and common areas are kind of old but they are still ok. I ordered room service once and can't complain. I paid $200 a night which was a lot but I guess the demand was high in Quito.
