Food was to be available until 10:00 pm. Got their at 9:15 pm and told that food/drink closed at 9:00 despite sign at front sek saying 10:00 pm.

Nice rooms but with major problems

This is our go-to place when visiting our son at Radford University. We’ve stayed here about 5-6 times.The hotel is always very clean, the rooms and bathrooms are quite nice as this grade if hotel would allow. But forget getting a good night’s sleep. Two major problems that affect comfort: 1. Forget any thought of a quiet night or stay. Hallways are Saltillo tile which means no sound absorption, in fact sound is multiplied by EVERYTHING: talking, walking, and worse, luggage wheeling down the hall at 5:30 am sounds like a freight train outside our room. It would be so easy to lay carpet over the tile to take care of this. The walls are extremely thin. We could hear every single word of the conversation between the 2 women in the room adjacent to ours - until midnight when they finally stopped talking. They were using normal voice tones- not being loud. We only managed a few hours of sleep during our stay - even after using a white noise app on our phone in an attempt to “drown out” noise. Also, of less importance to us - the breakfast is awful - I don’t think they use real eggs and the coffee is terrible. If you are okay with tasteless bagels or boxed cereal or packages of sugary instant oatmeal, then you’ll be fine. We would only stay here again in a room at the end of the hall next to an empty room - maybe. Paying anything over $65 per night for a room would be overpaying for what one can expect due to the total lack of noise remediation/ abatement and awful breakfast.

Good off interstate hotel with comfortable bed. Lobby needs updating and although I love classical music the music in lobby was a little dreary. Maybe light jazz would be better choice.

Clean, good breakfast, well organized and cared for. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly. Affordable. Convenient for 1/2 way stop on the way to Florida from PA.

good hotel for a good price

Pros: the price was right
Location: Close to Radford Universtiy
We needed a hotel that wasn't going to cost us a fortune as we were making a quick 10 hours stay. The hotel was nice and clean. The hotel staff at check-in was very friendly but not so much at check-out. I would stay there again for a quick overnight.
