Entire second floor smelled horrible! Overwhelming cigarette and drug smells. Had to leave and go to Hampton in could not stay it was so awful.

Let me start by saying I have religiously stayed at this hotel for the last 10 years at least once a year while visiting family and this was the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. Our first room had holes in the wall, cracks in the sink, cigarette burns in bed linens was all we noticed...at first. I asked the night staff person for a rollaway bed for my son which he did bring but that was it. No linens or pillow so he had to use his travel set. When we woke up the next day we found ants EVERYWHERE!!! When brought to the gentlemens attention he didn't even question or ask why i asked to switch rooms he just gave me a new room, which actually had someone already in it. So back down to finally get another room which did appear to cleaner and more well kept. However when we woke up the next morning we were unable to take showers due to the ants that had taken over the shower, ceiling, and sink. NEVER again! The breakfast is a literal joke, stale pastries and warm milk/juice. BUT I will say the two women we dealt with were very kind and I feel as though their hands were tied by the gentlemen who runs the place (btw he was dressed in ratted sweat clothes with stains on them and flip flops exposing his ungroomed feet) real professional of a front desk personnel.

This stay was more questionable than the last time we stayed there. The air unit in our room did not work at all. They offered to switch our room but we declined due to it not being too cold or too hot and we were only staying 1 night. The next morning we got up to a large infestation of ANTS! I had left a single serving pack of crackers laying there because I needed just one out of the package to take after taking my pills. It was full of the ants and we like to never got them all off our cups we had taken to drink our hot chocolate out of the next morning. And the breakfast was very lacking.

I would not recommend no one to stay in this junk of a hotel. There was bed buds in the room in both beds and the manager states there was nothing when I clearly have documented proof

The only thing that was a disappointment is the TV had lost the first 25 channels which was a channel that I was hoping to watch a football game on while I was resting for the next day. But other than that everything was fine.

Toilet didn’t flush. Tv would t come on. Stayed here several times and usually don’t have a problem… but the other room I booked only had 1 towel and 1 pillow for a king bed…

I’ve stayed here several times. No huge complaints. My tv wouldn’t work with remote, called the desk he came right up. Never have had big issues here. It’s convenient and the price is right.

I liked it because it was quiet with plenty of parking,walking distance to eating establishments or less than a mile to drive to different restaurants.The only thing that we didn't like was it smelled a little like smoke

The guy that checked us in was super nice. We went to our room and the smoke smell was awful. We immediately went back to the front desk and got our money back without a problem. He apologized. It has been 2 hours and i can still smell the smoke on my clothes and in my hair.

The lobby was filthy, I had to wait on the clerk for maybe 10 minutes to come to the desk so I could check in. When he did return, he was very unprofessional and sloppy in his appearance. I know we're all struggling to find people that want to work...but this was not what a hotel company wants in representation or first impressions.

This hotel is a little off the interstate but well worth the few extra minutes to get there. Miss Lou is an excellent manager who helps maintain and manage this immaculate facility. If you are headed to Fort Payne, I highly recommend this hotel.

BED BUGS!!! We stayed in room 216. After checking in we went to eat and came back. My sister in law started getting bit so we checked around the matresses and found bed bugs!!! We packed up everything and left. The only good thing I can say is that it appeared clean and they refunded my money within 24 hours.

We stayed for 1 night while we were headed south. At check in the father and son had no idea what they were doing. I did not see a pet fee online. At check in we were told it was $20 and we needed to pay with cash only. We went into our room, I turned on the bathroom sink and I got soaked with a leak from the faucet. I went to the front desk and they switched us to a different room on the second floor. Both rooms that we tried were supposedly non-smoking, but the both reeked of smoke. The second room at least the faucet didn't leak. The room was half renovated. There were no night stands, no table to sit at, only a desk. The room had horribly old, dirty carpet. The next morning for breakfast, if you can call it that there were 2 bagels, 2 pieces of bread, oj and coffee. There were also packets

Absolutely disgusting and moldy!
The room was disgusting! Mold all over, stains all over the carpet, sticky lamps and table tops, filthy bathtub, and bathroom. The hotel door didn't close unless you flipped the latch and it smelled musty and moldy. I will not recommend it and will never stay there again.
