I was able to stay at the same hotel as my friend. Not too far from the highway which is perfect because I drove to the city but also right by the airport which was nice because she flew in. The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff were all extremely friendly. Def would recommend and stay here again.

I always stay here when I am in the area, everyone is friendly. I typically sit at the bar for dinner and a drink but the bar was closed (bar tender had to leave early) - so I poked around the convenience cases and really didn't find what I wanted. My feedback is not a comment about the bar tender but about the limited choices in the convenience case) I walked over to the Hyatt house and found better choices. Also there was a huge palmetto bug in my room - it crawled under the night stand and I was unable to get it. I think they recently sprayed for bugs and it founc it's way in

We thank you for your patronage and yes, we and most hoteliers will spray for pests this time of year. The Aloft offers a large variety of offferings in our convenience cases (bonus points for using an industry term!) and we would add that we intentionally offer more than most other hotels. We always encourage our guests to let us know of any issues that may arise during their stay while they are still guests at our hotel so that we can take a more intentional proactive approach towards a resolution. We find that we can solve and change the stay experience immediately in most cases. We thank you for comments and we wish you safe travels.

I had reserved a 'King Room', but upon check-in, I was informed that my room had been given away, and I was provided with two double beds instead. The receptionist's response lacked empathy, as she mentioned that priority was given to members without apologizing for the inconvenience caused. Additionally, there was no prior notification of this change, which would have allowed me to make alternative arrangements. It's essential for businesses to prioritize their members, but it's equally important to ensure that all guests receive fair treatment and consideration. They missed an opportunity to potentially gain a new member from my visit.

Thank you, Heather. All of your sessions are correct. We didn’t do enough on her end to make you aware that we had guests that decided to stay longer than the original check out. We are not allowed to keep them from extending. Unfortunately, that can negatively impact that day’s arrivals and that’s what happened to you. Very easy check in process. Clean hotel, large room, modern furnishings, huge shower! 24 hr airport shuttle, nice bar area. I would certainly stay here again.

barking dog all night. if we wanted to deal with a dog, we would have stayed home. They offered us a later checkout - we declined due to having to work, and then offered a free beverage. wasn't happy with the offerings for the disturbance.

Room was humid with a musty, moldy smell upon entering. I later discovered that this was because the AC was malfunctioning and would randomly turn off. There as a note on the table warning that organized crime thieves are targeting the parking lot and that the hotel is not responsible for damages. Room was filthy. Windows covered in grime. There was a leak around the toilet AND around the sink faucet. The toiletries next to the sink were soaking in a water puddle and therefore unusable. The bathroom floor had a huge water puddle as well. There was about a 6 inch strip of seal missing at the base of the shower door. The final straw was, there was no hot water during my stay, which meant I could not shower. When I reported this (and the other issues) to the front desk attendant, the response was “yeah we’re having water issues.” That was it.

We also reduced her rate by 50% for the inconvenience - see attached.I want to sincerely apologize for the numerous issues you faced during your recent stay at Aloft RDU. Your feedback is invaluable, and I am truly sorry for the discomfort caused by the malfunctioning AC, safety concerns, and the overall condition of your room. I assure you that we are actively addressing these issues to prevent a recurrence.The lack of hot water is unacceptable, and I apologize for the inconvenience. To make amends, we did credit your stay by 50% during and emailed you a copy of the revised invoice as we promised.Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience in the future.

It was convenient to stay there if you’re flying out of RDU , the bartender was fun, informative and attentive, The food was great and nice choices. The room was cozy, clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was other people’s noise in the halls or when their doors shut they were loud. I’d definitely stay again! My daughter and I enjoyed it and it was a good choice for our last night to visit before I flew out on a terribly early flight.

Too much plastic
Trip to Aloft rdu airport was fine. They just use too much plastic. Ask for a glass of water at the bar and you get water poured from a newly opened bottle of water.
