I was planning to stay here for 5 days. After check in, I noticed that there was a notice posted by the elevators that the property was under watch of the Fire Department for having inadequate fire alarms. Too tired to care at that moment, I went on up to my room. I am a regular business traveler and very tolerant of hotel mishaps. The property is quite run down and grimy looking, though I do think the staff is making their best attempt to keep it clean. I went to connect to WiFi from my work computer (I needed to work over this trip) and got security pop-ups that it wasn't safe to proceed and that my data could be seen/stolen by others. I tried my iPad and phone and got the same messages. I've never even gotten this kind of message in an airport. My work computer refused to allow me to connect. I went to bed and checked out in the morning, cancelling the rest of my stay since I wouldn't be able to do what I needed to at that hotel. The desk clerk told me that they did have a lot of ongoing internet problems. We agreed that I wouldn't be charged, as I'd need to go find somewhere else to stay. After leaving, I found that I was DOUBLE charged for the entire 5 days. I tried to call and talk to the manager but she was too busy to take my call. I called Expedia and they resolved it for me. Horrible experience, with the exception of the wonderful desk clerks who seem to be doing their very best. I suppose that it's the management of this hotel that's terrible.

Nice. Great location. Clean. The property is getting “weathered”, cosmetically; scratches on walls, carpet stains. Little things that don’t really affect your stay need some maintenance attention.

Hallways reeked of pot and cigarettes- even in the non-smoking area. Any housekeeping had to be specifically requested, in the name of COVID. Breakfasts have turned into a coupon system that you order ahead of time, the night before, and when we went to pick it up in the morning, no one was around for 10 minutes to hand it to us. We returned shortly after and again, an empty front desk. Snacking options were limited to all of two types a soda from a fridge in the lobby, which was disappointing. The room was as expected, but little things were odd, like no plastic bags in any trash cans as a "green initiative". One elevator was down, the fire suppression system was apparently malfunctioning (there were signs indicating this around the hotel), and the overall ambience was out of date and dirty. We actually switched hotels for the remainder of our three day stay after the first night because we were so disappointed.
