If I could rate this property ZERO STARS, I would! We did not stay. Walked in & out immediately!
I would NOT recommend this property. False advertising. Claims sleeps four, no way. Claims two bathrooms, only one. Nothing like the photos in the listing. This is an apartment that the owner lives in. He moved out temporarily for the weekend. All of his personal belongings were in every room. Food in the kitchen, personal products in the bathroom and clothes in the bedroom, etc. Check-in was at 6:00 pm. When I arrived, the OWNER was cleaning, NOT a service. My son was with me. We waited outside until he was finished. When he left, just after 6:00, he left the door unlocked since we were waiting. We walked in, walked around and left immediately. We could not open the key box to lock the door when we left. The combination did not work. The key was for the deadbolt. The owner had package tape on the handle of the door, so it could not be used. I had to remove the package tape he had on the door handle to lock the door behind, so it was locked when I left. The refrigerator had no handle and there was a sign on it that read 'Do not use the refrigerator but you are welcome to use the microwave'. Really? What a disappointment. I had sent the owner a message stating that I was leaving and would not be staying at his property. I then had to find a hotel at 6:30 in the evening which was not easy. Nothing was available. Especially since there was a NCU vs. UNC football game that weekend. The first open to the public game since Covid-19. Again, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.
