They allow fishing on this lake too #Spring at the NC State Capitol. #hipstamatic Night time skyscraper in Raleigh, NC There are lots of little restaurants on Hillsborough St. by NC State University. This is a good little Indian place. They're prices are a little cheaper than other Indian restaurants in the area, but the food is still good! This is a really unique bar that just opened down town. You can poor yourself as much beer as you want of each beer and you pay by the ounce. They're constantly changing the taps out too. They have a pretty good sized menu, but the food isn't spectacular. #huntlibrary at NCSU, looks very spaceship-ish Got the coca-cola BBQ glazed salmon and it was all delicious! North Carolina BBQ at its best! #restaurant There's a 9 hole disc golf on Centennial Campus at NC State University. This course a bit more diverse than others in the area. If you're in the southeast, you better try some chicken and waffles! Beasley's fries their chicken in a honey batter making it that much sweeter. Yum! This is an awesome little used book store that's been around forever. You can trade in books for store credit and Trolley Pub Raleigh, it's always a fun time with a few friends, rain or shine! In case walking around the farmers market doesn't indulge you in the down south feel enough, you can eat at their restaurant! Deep fried everything and the more butter the better! A speak easy inside the well-known Architect, is a great place to lounge after dinner until the crowds show up for the night. Very unique hand-crafted cocktails too. Fayetteville St and W Morgan St. I got a boring wedge salad. But they have great food and outdoor seating for those days you just have to be outside! It's a great bar at night too. #huntlibrary Book Robot The new Hunt Library on NCSU's Centennial Campus Every February there is a Krispy Kreme Challenge starting at NC State University and going to the Krispy Kreme 2.5 miles away. You have to eat a dozen donuts then run back!! You don't have to participate at a Very nicely decorated Indian restaurant. The prices are the same as any other Indian place around town. Tastes great too! I love Caffe Luna! Both times I've gone the owner has come to talk to us. It's a great little place to go! This drink is called This brewery has taken sampling to the next level. At the bar you get a wristband, with this wristband you get to choose a glass and the beer you wish to try from the downpour wall. You scan your wristband, pour your beer and enjoy. When you scan your band it calculates the ounces of each beer, or mead, you try. Mix and match all you’d like! At the end hand your wristband back in and the bartender scans it and gives you a totally had a lot of fun here! Raleigh skyline at night Creepy Science Turtle on Display Fancy cocktails and dessert at Bittersweet downtown. Not cheap, but a good place to go after dinner! This is part of the confederate memorial area of the cemetery. There was recently vandalism on some of the statues in protest of honoring the confederate soldiers. It's an interesting discussion for sure. Raleigh, the state capital of North Carolina. A small city with great food and friendly people. Visit this hip campus with museums, cafes, bars, green spaces​ and this neat whisper dish benches​ where you speak into it and the person in the other one can hear you 100 feet away.
