Beautiful hotel and location!

Pros: Friendly staff. Free cookies! Comfortable beds!!!
Cons: Fridges in each room. bathroom stalls throughout the hotel are very small making it hard to get in and out of. Don't worry about people in seminars
Location: College town - great diversity of food options! Love it!!!!

Favorite place to stay in Raleigh

Pros: Staff; Short distance to campus;Easy walk to coffee shops and restaurants.
Cons: Room service phone number was often very busy, but a quick call to desk and this was easily handled.
Location: One part of the campus is within walking distance. Coffee shops and Restaurants easy walk. Movies, malls, bars,game rooms short drive
The staff is always very professional and courteous. I always enjoy room service and great coffee shops and wonderful restaurants are within easy walking or short car rides. A short walk and you are at the rather large campus. If you are visiting the campus there is no better place to stay.

Loud heater at night

Heater was extremely loud at night and no acces to the patio outside as the door would not open. Big gap on the door as cold air sept in all night

On the downslide

Staff was excellent. But the building is clearly suffering from deferred maintenance issues. Had wind howling through my windows and that was after the staff tried to fix it. If you are looking for just a place to sleep, I would consider this location. For anything else I would probably look elsewhere.

Choose an upper floor room

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting North Carolina State University (NCSU) which is located a few blocks away. In most ways, the hotel is an adequate business hotel. However, my particular room was extremely noisy. There was a fan/air conditioning unit located outside my room that was so loud and "unbalanced" that the wall vibrated. I had a first-floor room. I expect this problem would be less on upper floors.

spent the weekend for a NCSU scholarship event with our daughter. Right by campus. The suite accommodated all of us. Room and hotel were clean and nice bar/restaurant

Overall nice hotel in convenient location close to NC State north campus with very friendly staff. Comfortable beds and easy parking. Beautiful relaxing lobby. Only down side was minor problems with room condition - bathtub needed resurfacing, bathroom door stop was bent and coming out of the wall and toilet paper holder was difficult to reach while seated on toilet.

Convenient and Clean - just don't drink the water

The hotel was the perfect location for doing the Annual Krispy Kreme 5M Race. It is within a stone's throw of the start / finish line. It's in the middle of the campus so very convenience for anyone who has campus business. The room was fine - clean, simple. Nice bartender. Chocolate cookies at checkin. The water is a little funky (both shower and sink).

Not much to say positive about this hotel

Cons: Improve attention to guests by staff and room cleanliness.
I did not have as good of an experience at this hotel as I have has at other Hilton properties. I'm a Hilton Honors member and I was given a ground level room. I asked to switch rooms to another floor and they refused since I booked through a third party. Staff was unfriendly and never made eye contact. Always looking down. They never explained the facilities or breakfast. I had to ask them. I had a problem with my room key, when I asked for a new one at the desk, the woman seemed bothered that I asked for another key as she starred at her computer screen. I had the noisiest room that I can remember. The room's ground level window faced the parking lot. All night I heard car locks beeping. Drunks talking. People on their cell phones. People talking while smoking. The bath tub drain was clogged and filled up with water as you showered. The bathroom floor and underside of toilet set wasn't totally clean. The hotel's laundry room was across the hall from my room. My only positive experience was one of the maids was kind enough to let me borrow scissors. I will not stay at this hotel again, when I return to Raleigh.

Hi, most staff was friendly however Patricia in restaurant seemed like she didn't like being there and was clearly disturbed to help us, don't know why but was definitely not happy.
