We stayed 3 nights for Dreamville fest and everything was great aside from them never cleaning our room. We had to go down every night when we got back for new towels. I even asked for a large trash bag because they didn’t empty our trash either.

We were very pleased with the location and convenience of staying at this hotel. The biggest downside was that they had no hot water which, as you can imagine, is a HUGE inconvenience. This should be an absolute necessity, especially when booking a room at a 4-star hotel. While we were hoping to have a relaxing evening/night before heading to Duke Hospital for what will be a very stressful day, we had no such luck.

Hotel charged my card for “no show” and will not refund. I was only a no show because I was in the ER and admitted to the hospital. All I asked them to do was to transfer the reservation to a new night. Too bad, now I will never EVER stay there because of poor customer service.

My 10 year old daughter and I stayed thanksgiving night and Friday night. Our stay was great overall but I have two complaints! The indoor pool water temperature was not warm enough for even the kids to swim in and they had no towels in the pool area! Second issue was that my room 312 had a very loose toilet seat and I stopped at the front desk our first day to inform the staff! Nothing was done about either issue, the most important being the toilet seat issue!

Absolutely lovely stay. The staff was fantastic and the gentleman that oversees the breakfast is a true professional. You can stay at a different place but it’s going to cost more definitely. Proximity to anything in the triangle is relatively easy from here also!

This was a clean nice place. The pool was nice and so were the employees . My only small complaint was that the air conditioner was very loud and made it hard to sleep. THE Breakfast was also nice and the employees were very pleasant and helpful.

The property was nice and quiet. The only issues we had was our TV didn’t work and our air didn’t work but they did send someone to fix the air but we never had the TV to work.

Overall, the property was decent. The room had a stinch in it when we walked in and one of the comforters was quite dingy compared to the other bed and the seam was dirty. However, the employees were excellent both days and on all shifts. This includes the front desk, housekeepers, and maintenance man.

I was not informed, nor would I have been pleased if I were informed about the lack of room service— dirty towels not picked up and clean replenished, trash cans not emptied, nor bed made. The toilet paper was such a LOW grade—not Marriott’s expected quality by far. When arriving back to room after being gone all day and finding everything in disarray is quite disappointing. I look forward to a restful night not one that I am informed at 11:30pm I can come down to desk and get clean towels if I want them. This is not Marriott!!!!!

We are saddened to hear about your room service experience. We simply follow Marriott's room service model which states that we clean stayovers every other day. If a guest checks in on a Friday, the room would not be serviced until Sunday. Should a guest need service, they may request it and it will be performed. This model has been in place since mid 2022. Premium Hotels, excluding Resorts, will offer Daily ServiceSelect and Extended-Stay Hotels will offer Every-Other-Day ServiceLuxury Hotels/Resorts and Premium Resorts will offer Daily Full Clean Service

There should be a noise curfew in the lobby. A fan would be nice in the bathroom. A nightlight in the bathroom as well. TV stations didn’t work well. All in all, it was a nice stay. One of our favorite hotels when we travel to Durham.

Without knowing the specifics about your encounter, I cannot respond appropriately. I will say that our goal is to always respond and address every guest with great service and intentions. Also, we have complimentary coffee and tea in our lobby daily from 6:30am - 10:00am. Complimentary coffee packs and a coffee maker are located in every guest room as well. You are correct, that we do not provide "all-day' complimentary coffee. The Marriott brand has several awesome full-service brands as well as select-service brands with more offerings for you to explore in the future. Thank you for staying with us and for your review.

Staff members were all friendly, at least 5 inquired about our stay during breakfast/checkout alone. Check in was seamless, and Alexis even asked us preferences when assigning our room. When the staff is happy, it shows.
