Close to Duke

Outstanding stay. Came to visit family for the holidays everyone was polite. Rooms were clean and well done. 1st room did have an issue with the cable tv but they quickly came up and got us another room.

Loved this hotel but

Loved our stay here but would have liked a fridge in the room! And if the hot tub stayed open later! We went to a show at the DPAC and by the time we got back the hot tub was closed :( and we had left overs from dinner one night so a fridge would have been awesome.

Nice hotel close to Duke hospital

We love this hotel!! It is close to Duke hospital, restaurants, gas stations and a shopping mall.

Beautifully appointed throughout

Location: The hotel is located on a small highway which allows easy to Downtown Durham and Chapel Hill. For an excellent brunch or dinner, don't miss Guglhupf's
For a mid-priced chain hotel, this LaQuinta is special. The lobby is spacious and very attractive. Additionally, there is an indoor pool and a lovely landscaped courtyard. Guest rooms are decorated in a contemporary style and include all expected amenities. The staff was experienced and attentive.

Parent's weekend in Durham

I waited too long to get one of the hotels or B&Bs adjacent to campus. This hotel had been recently renovated and looked good online. Checkin was easy, staff extremely courteous Only complaint is THIN walls and very loud toilet flushes. Also some rust peeking thru the bottom of my tub. Morning breakfast was nice to have available, not that it was fancy, but the lobby is comfortable and pleasant and WiFi worked well Parking good too
