Nice hotel.

Pros: Clean and spacious. Nice ammenities
Cons: Put a door on the room with the ice machine
Location: We just stayed to visit our son
The only negative thing was that the ice machine was near our room. Not so much people getting ice but the recycling of the machine itself. It became rather annoying when all was quiet at night. Otherwise a really great hotel. Just get a room away from an ice machine

Hotel is Centrally Located in RTP

Pros: Nice clean hotel with spacious room.
Cons: Complimentary breakfast would be great-even basic hotels provide that.
Location: Near Duke University, so good for parents visiting their kids.
Good hotel in RTP. Good location with no road noise. The room was spacious and clean. Internet service is good. The air conditioner was noisy.

DIAL UP WIFI!!!

Overall the hotel was very good, but their WIFI was HORRIBLE. I don't think I would stay again just because of the Wifi although they did offer high speed wifi fir an extra $9 a day, I didn't think it was worth that. But it was really slow. I stayed at the Hyatt House in Morrisville which was not to far away and it was better all together. I think HH is where I would stay from now on when I visit the area.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you had a poor experience with using our WI-FI. I must say this in not something that we normally receive complaints about. We have plenty of bandwidth for the hotel even on busy nights. In some cases the guest equipment isn't set just right or on occasion some of our equipment may need a quick reset. In either case a quick call to the front desk can usually rectify the issue quickly. Additionally, the complimentary internet is most suited for email and surfing the web. Beyond that the high speed internet would be required. I am truly sorry you were inconvenienced. Sincerely, Bill C General Manager

NCCU

I was here for a football game at NCCU and it's not far from campus and the rooms and great, the staff was amazing, and the overall experience was great as well.

Convenient but flawed

Decent Marriott hotel in an area convenient to Chapel Hill and surrounding areas. Highs included friendly service, free parking & Wifi, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Low points? Our room had a definite mold/mildew odor but we were too tired to switch. Also, the breakfast buffet was $16.50 - that's a bit much for self-serve breakfast - especially considering the nightly rate. We opted to go out. Charging for breakfast seems to be a trend for many hotels and we're starting to reconsider Marriott as our go-to place to stay.

We have the friendliest staff in town that provide outstanding service. Please accept my apologies for the room smell. Once we are notified of any room smell we normally move guests immediately and can rectify the odor. We have a great breakfast buffet that includes coffee, juice and omelets in addition to our menu. Nice hotel, near to the airport.

Good experience overall, the hotel room was very clean, although they didn't provide shower cap. Hotel restaurant has a limited menu.
