Outdated by Ramada standards

Posted Sep 15, 2016
Pros: The breakfast and the location of the pool.
Cons: The rooms and décor of the hotel. The staff could look and be a little more professional.
Location: Not to much nearby restaurant-wise. Pretty close to the PNC Arena, Carter-Finley Stadium, and the State Fair Grounds.
Everything from the front desk to the room was outdated compared to other Ramada's that I have stayed at. The vending machine didn't work, the bed was way too firm, and breakfast was chaotic. We enjoyed how close it was to the arena and the breakfast tasted good.

Thank you for your comments. We do realize that our hotel is dated but we have already begun our renovations. Thank you again for your feedback, it is very important to us. I would also like to mention that we do have a large list of restaurants available at the Font Desk of nearby restaurants for those who would like to g out.

Almost like an apt

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: Sliding glass door, safe
Cons: Maybe a few more options on the breakfast
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 night over the weekend. He had a court appearance in family court in downtown which was about 10 min away and we were scheduled to go to the Luke Bryan concert Friday night. It was a perfect middle ground. My favorite part about the hotel was that it had a sliding glass door than opened up to a patio. We were on the bottom level so we were able to back out car right up to our room. There was a tropical storm coming through so while he was gone all day, I was able to open up the sliding glass door and enjoy the breeze coming through. I loved it. The hotel itself is a little older, but I don't mind that. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok. It wasn't fantastic but it wasn't bad either. We ate there both days. I did not get to enjoy the pool area (tropical storm) however it looked very nice. This is right across the street from the arena. When we got in Thursday night there had been a NC State game that was just letting out. All the roads were blocked to let traffic out and we could not get to the hotel. Which was a horrible pain for us, but if you are in town for a game??? You can walk right across the street and not get in the traffic at all. Overall, we were very pleased and would def stay here again.

Great location for PNC and Carter Finley Stadium.

Pros: Location
Cons: The restaurant had a very limited menu for dinner. Would like to have seen a salad bar and more grilled meats and vegetables.
Check in was easy and convenient. Just minutes away from stadium

Great budget option close to everything!

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: Location was a strong point and the courtyard area was really nice.
Cons: It is outdated and parking was limited when we arrived in the rain.
Location: Lots of convenient shopping, dining, sports venues, and state park.
We stayed for a track event at Meredith College. The hotel was close and convenient to dining options and shopping. The courtyard area was really a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was free and had a fair variety of items.
