It was an average stay, the room was nice and the bed was comfortable, you have to pay extra to use the safe which is unreasonable for how much you pay for the room. The towels were paper-thin and barely absorb anything, and one of the towels was already dirty when we got there and looked like it hadn’t even been washed. The area around the inn doesn’t have the safest vibes and there were people outside our room screaming at each other on our first night’s stay, but nothing happened to us or our stuff during the stay. Overall a decent place.

Never stayed at a place that doesn’t manage the loud music in multiple rooms and parking lot. With having 3 little kids this place is not kid friendly. From 11pm to 3am it was loud music not only in one room but others too. Not to mention the car in front of our room in the parking lot playing loud music throughout the early morning. Then to top it off the shower was never cleaned when we got in our room. Clumps of long hair all of the shower with multiple used bar’s of soap in the shower. The icing on the cake was the refrigerator didn’t work so everything we put into it went bad. More money wasted! Very disappointed in our stay as our kids and ourselves were up all night. Never in my life have I written a bad review but this was just unacceptable!

Front desk service was great! Staff was nice, professional and quick check-in. It was quiet around the hotel and it was very clean in the room. There was a little trash in the woods around the hotel. Overall great stay.

Located a half mile from my dentist, the great Brian Glover DDS of Chapel Hill, that's the best thing about this location. The worst thing was staying on a Friday night when it's a little more expensive, that hurt a little bit!

The location is close to restaurants but driving is required. The Chapel Hill/Durham highway is fairly busy particularly during the rush hours. The motel exterior is appealing however the rooms could use some renovation.

It was extremely old, outdated place. Awful mattress, cockroaches, towels that I would not use for my dogs! We had to buy couple towels to make i there:( NO coffee in room, lobby full of cardboard boxes and junk, you can not even make your way to coffee maker! Trash all over property, empty cans of beer, boxes from pizza….. it felt very uncomfortable to be there, we felt like we had to slide furniture to block door for our safety!

Experience would have been better if we had slept in the car. Not clean, especially bathroom. TV not working, AC made loud noises, traffic noise so loud I looked to see if window was open behind blinds. Woke up every time AC came on or a loud vehicle drove by so no sleep. Building completely under construction. Entire parking lot looks like a garbage dump with all the demo cabinets, etc. Rearranged our entire trip so we didn't have to stay a 2nd night as planned. Asked for a refund and front desk staff gave us a runaround. Said we would have to go thru Hotels.com since that's how we booked. But then told them she wouldn't refund because we did not tell her immediately when we checked in (at almost midnight). Wondering what she is indicating she could have done when she already said everything had to go through Hotels.com?!? Classic runaround. Obviously I will not stay here again and hope that Hotels.com flags them for not stating property is under major renovations. Should be closed until finished.

Very disappointed. The room smelled like an ashtray, there was old furniture piled outside in the rear parking lot. The lobby has hundreds of boxes piled up in the floor. The room was uncomfortable and if I had intentions of staying any longer than one night after a sporting event I would have asked to cancel my reservation. I will not be staying here again.

Mold on ceiling in bathroom. No furniture or table or anywhere to sit luggage other than the ground or what small amount could fit on the “nightstands” beside the bed. No vanity or anywhere to sit toiletries in the bathroom unless you want to sit your stuff on the back or the toilet or the bathroom floor. There was a long line for checkin-it took probably a solid 20 minutes just to get checked in. Great location, pleasant staff, but I would prefer to not stay here again.
