Lavish and lovely!

Posted Dec 4, 2016
We went to our first Duke men's basketball game over the weekend and stayed here. It was phenomenal! We ate at The Fairview dining room for dinner, which was excellent, and had breakfast at The Vista. Everyone was so friendly and the food was fantastic! Although a little pricey, it was well worth it! This was one of the best trips we've ever had and couldn't ask for anything more! We made great memories and WILL stay here again one day!

Not worth to stay

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Pros: Nice surrounding and luxurious decorations
Cons: need to fix the noisy problem between room to room
Location: It's very close to duke university. It takes about 5 minutes walking to the campus.
The hotel is with nice golf view and high quality decoration. But the room condition is not good. the wifi in room is very low, and the material of anti-noisy in room seems like not working, too much noisy from next door, laughing and talking and --. it really made me sleepless.

Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful Location

Posted Nov 26, 2016
Location: Close to Duke campus for sporting events. The Duke Lemur center is a short drive and was a great family activity.
Our family loved everything about this hotel. The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. Our children enjoyed the pool. The whole family enjoyed the nearby walking/fitness trail.

Overpriced but convenient.

Posted Nov 8, 2016
Pros: I loved the service. The staff is wonderful. The location was great while visiting Duke University and Uber seems to be able to get in and out relatively quickly.
Cons: The rooms need to be updated. It feels like a much older property once you're inside your room.
Location: You're a block away from Duke University.

Great hotel & golf course

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: Location/proximity to downtown
Location: Golf course is part of the Inn; it is 2-3 miles to downtown, with a ton of restaurants and theatre venues.
We chose the Washington Duke Inn for our first visit to Durham and are very glad we did. Our room was spacious & clean and the hotel is very close to downtown. We golfed on Saturday and the course is beautiful (though tough!) We had lunch outside one day and the food was delicious.

Hotel tranquilo cerca de la universidad

Posted Oct 16, 2016

Great idea but not perfect finish

Posted Oct 4, 2016
Location: Right next to campus, very convenient.
Rooms were comfortable but digital TV reception in rooms was terrible. Basically unwatchable and in this situation for 24 hours or more.

Luxury Convenience

Posted Aug 29, 2016
Pros: Great food, reasonable prices. Beautiful setting. Very comfortable and clean. The room itself had beautiful linens and decorating.
After hard work moving my daughter into the dorm, lots of walking with heavy loads in 90* heat, it was wonderful to relax and enjoy meals at the Washington Duke Inn.
