The perfect place from which to explore the Negev!

Amazing, out of the way place with impeccable style. The rooms are large, clean, well made up, cozy, and have all the necessary amenities. The hosts are very friendly and gracious. Breakfast is delicious. Nothing negative to say!

Love Barking Dogs & Military Maneuvers? You Win!

We splurged to rent the couples cabin, as we were in Israel for business and decided to make a vacation a part of the trip! We arrived at night, and were shown around the property a bit.The "kitchen" was, in fact, a shack with 3 walls and a corrugated tin roof, the "stove" a burner attached to a bottle of propane, and there was not much in the way of utensils. The hot tub water was murky, so we chose not to submerge our tender bits into it. The highlight of the couple's cabin is definitely the bathroom, with a soaking tub that looks over the desert. The bed was...very firm, so for those who love hard beds, it will suit you! For me, it triggered a bad sciatica episode. That was difficult. As we settled in, we realised that there were three different dogs barking. Pretty much non-stop...well, sometimes one would leave off but his buddies made sure to keep up the barkfest. I finally called the office and they kindy reassured us that the dogs would stop barking once they were in for the night: that was about an hour later. In the morning, they picked right back up, around 7:30 AM. The morning was also special since there is an army base in the vicinity, and there was ordinance and occasional gunfire, as well as helicopters very low overhead. Now, this is outside of the control of the landowners, but it is something I wish I'd known prior to spending a not insignificant sum on the lodgings. When we went to use the "kitchen," the gas bottle was empty. Sadly, we were not sad to leave.
