She made sure she was there to meet us when we arrived, and even left a birthday card and gift for me which was so thoughtful. I would highly recommend staying here, the location is spot on and the accommodation is lovely.”

“The hotel was really easy to find, the staff were super friendly and the facility was really secure. The actual room was really clean and you have a small kitchenette to be able to cook basic meals. There is a shop literally 30 seconds up the street that stays open late which is perfect. The placement of the hotel is right between the City centre and the hoe/ barbican which was perfect for me and allowed really easy access to both.”

“Right in the heart of the Barbican this is a lovely modern apartment in a historic looking building. I loved that the hallway and stairs that lead to the apartment, and the apartment itself were adorned with the artwork of a local artist. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay!”

“Facilities were well organised and everything was as described. Bed was comfortable. Only downside wife me was that the carpet needs a clean, it is getting sticky under foot. Otherwise all good.”

“The steps you encounter are not mentioned. And are near vertical. A ladder brings you up to the back garden. The door to the property is the only way in or out and the only daylight. Steps down to the kitchen. 3 foot fall to bathroom and dungeon style chamber. Lightning is extremely limited and everything is painted black. No steps provided to get into bed. Great if you’re in your 20’s and don’t want to sleep. Great if you want a swinging party of 6 guests. Not great if you’re in your 50’s……

“The small aparentment type house was wonderful to stay in and felt very homley, the sceary around the house too was gorgeous, plus the property manager had a cat which is just bonus points would rate 10 stars if possible for the cat alone. The property manager was also very kind and spoke clearly. Both my partner and i very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.”

“Gorgeous views over the estuary to Fowey, absolutely lovely apartment with everything we needed. Lovely touches on arrival with a bottle of fizz, nibbles & milk in the fridge. Thank you for that & the supply of coffee pods for the machine.Frequent ferry crossings to Fowey, lovely walks, however, you need to be fairy fit to cope with the steep streets & hills.”

“The accommodation was disappointment. Not only did I find that there was an addition £12.50 to pay for parking at the property, which was not specified in the booking. The property is clearly advertised as having doors that open from the lounge to the outside sea front. On arriving at the property I found the doors from the lounge locked and no key available to unlock them. When calling the reception I was told that they had been locked for "security" reasons and could not be opened. It appears……
