Upon arrival we were assigned the worst room I’ve ever seen right behind the dive shop ! Tiny Dingy NO WINDOW $240 We had to pay an extra $60 to get a reasonable room Be careful with this one!

Given a room for disabled people. Had no chairs in the room to sit on only the bed or toilet. When I first arrived room had limit towels and barely toilet on the holder, need to take a roll off the cleaning cart. Luckily the cart was near working on another room. Parking near the disability room was already taken. I am not a disabled person do not understand why I was assigned this room not given another choice.

I really hate doing review cause I don't want others finding out about this place. LOL Great place. Not fancy but super clean and so convenient to things we like to do. I wish they would not allow smoking in the Tiki bar. Wind always out of the south so there is no place to sit and get away from it. Put some lights in the trees with smoking benches on east side of bldg. People are used to having to go outside to smoke these days.

I was attending a concert at Boondocks and this hotel is very convenient to just walk across the road. I hadn't stayed here in a couple of years and they've really updated the property. Only con is that parking is limited.

Room was a little run down but was very comfortable. Pool area was great. Tiki bar/restaurant on property which is very convenient. All rooms have a back balcony as well, I really liked sitting out there just watching the waterway. My daughter and I did the snorkeling trip. Captains Ron and Katie were awesome! Very fun and friendly. Went out of their way AFTER the two snorkeling stops to take us all dolphin and turtle spotting. A truly beautiful experience. Overall, a very nice stay.

Easy drive to Key West. Comfortable place to stay. Friendly staff. Tiki bar and pool on site. A nice Keys stopover, not a franchise hotel w/a long list of amenities. I’ll definitely be back!

Checkin was quick and staff there friendly, beds were clean, nice shower, fridge, microwave. That's about the only positive things i could come up with. Very old, outdated motel on a canal. There were tiny flies in our room, stains on chairs, warped night stand, bulbs burned out, outlets didnt work, no soap in bathroom, tiki bar music loud and goes till 10 or 11pm, staff at tiki bar were horrible. Only good thing i can say about tiki bar was bartender brings his cute dog to work so he was roaming around waiting for ppl to drop food.

The whole place felt like it needed to be updated. The room didn’t have a homey feel and the outside didn’t seem to be maintained well. It had a good price and we did like that the tiki bar was right across from our room.

The window A/C either running at full power cold mode with terrible noisy sound or being unplugged at your choice. All control buttons failed to work. Our crappy small room #26 has no window at all so that it may be lack of oxygen over night if I unplugged this airplane engine. Don't forget to bring your noise cancelling earbuds with you when you like to stay.

Monday night karaoke was fun. Tuesday night trivia was packed. Band on Wednesday night was good. Food at Tiki was good. Room was a good size. Two double beds that were a little hard. Only a top sheet on the beds no comforter or blanket. Did find a blanket is the closet. Room cleaning is only available on request. Only two towels and no spare toilet paper. There was a high top table with two chairs that were broken. Normal table and chairs would be better since there is no where to sit. Water pressure was good. Overall we would stay here again it just could be much nicer.

Never got the room serviced or towels or trash or TP our whole stay. Found a dirty swifter cleaning pad on the TV stand. Very odd. We couldn't figure out why our feet were getting black on the bottom. I test cleaned the floor and got a black towel back. Gross black hair in the shower. My spouse got locked inside to pool area with no obvious way out. Overall: just okay. 2 star rating is correct.

The colors were quaint quintessential Florida, which was refreshing. It wasn't a standard cookie cutter hotel. The worst part, was our room was closest to the Tiki lounge and they have live (loud) music on the weekend. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. From 6 or 7 until about 10:30 each night, it was like we had a speaker on in our room.

When we first checked in, the room was dirty never cleaned. Bed not made towels on bathroom floor. I had requested a room with 2 beds. This one was one bed and very, very small room. After advising front desk we were immediately given another room and they did make it right. Otherwise I felt it was just average. The room was very clean. A bit outdated but couldn’t really complain as the price was very good.

On our 16 day visit to the Keys, this place was the least desirable. Our room was tiny and cramped. The air conditioner didn’t work properly and other people sat outside their rooms partying. It did quiet down at the stated quiet hours except for the music in the bar. Although it’s listed as a resort, there was nothing resort-like about it. We won’t be back.

Every staff member was friendly and helpful from checking in to checking out, and the tiki bar staff was grear too. It's a comfortable place to lay your head down at night and the outdoor seating off of each room was a great place to just relax. We'll be back!

Chilled vibe, lots of locals and live music at Tiki Bar, food decent, friendly and helpful Staff. Felt safe for a solo female to stay at. It was pretty easy to ward off self proclaimed “Scary Gary” doing his best pick up lines at the Tiki Bar. Room 26 just needs a little TLC to make it more cozy like a hotel “resort” room and less prison like.

The experience is nice. We run into key problems at the beginning, but the management and front-desk are efficiently collaborating to solve our problem. The rooms are comfortable, tidy, and clean. Since the buildings are a bit old, the facilities may need some maintenance and upgrading. But overall, our experience is great.

Great hotel but has a tiki bar on the property, with a live band on Saturdays. If you want to go to bed early, good luck getting any sleep. If i had known about the Tiki Bar with live band, i would have booked elsewhere. Otherwise, i has no major complaints.
