Thus hotel was very dirty and out dated I would it stay here again

Nice reception staff,housekeeping could use some work. You never hear from housekeeping no matter how long you stay.

You can probably do better

Pros: Proximity to trains to NYC and right next to Olive Garden.
Cons: There's no quick fix here. A lot would need to be upgraded.
It's fair to say that this hotel is on the lower side of the spectrum. We only stayed there for one night, but if we had needed any longer we would have switched places. Our room was not grimey or crawling with bugs, but it felt very lived-in. Imagine an older dorm on a college campus and I think you have a pretty good idea of what I mean. The pillows were pancake-thin and the shower needed a serious hit of CLR cleanser. Even in a non-smoking room you still get the waft of cigarettes coming through. I have no idea how anyone has rated it 5 stars. The place isn't a dump, but it's a 2-star hotel at best. Nothing wrong with this place that a multi-million dollar upgrade wouldn't fix. Until that happens, you can probably do better for lodging in the area. REGARDING THE STAFF: Credit where it's due because the members of the staff were pleasant. The condition of the hotel isn't their fault. They work with what they have.

Poor WiFi but decent hotel.

Pros: Staff was quick and efficient checking me in.
Cons: WiFi needs to be updated.
Location: Was there for business so didn't get to explore around. There is a Olive Garden right next door which is convenient.
As a frequent guest of Extended Stay America I must say everything is good to great except for the terrible WiFi, no speed, even if you pay for the faster speed and inconsistent connectivity.

Hometown Visit

Pros: the staff and the comfy bed
Cons: for me, nothing. it met all my needs.
Location: hey, it's new jersey so in and out on rt 17 can be dicey, but for me, bergen county will always be home.
This was the best hotel stay that I have ever had. It didn't seem like it was going to be at first, because upon entering my room I sat on the bed and the mattress collapsed to the floor. My daughter notified the desk, and the guy was right there and fixed it right away. It turned out that the mattress was more comfortable than my mattress at home-best hotel sleep ever. I have never stayed at a place where the staff was so genuinely friendly and accomodating.

Don't stay here.

I stayed in this hotel because I was working in the area for a week and needed a reasonably priced place to stay. What I didn't know was why it was so cheap. This place looks great on the outside and even paved the driveway while I was there. Inside was another story. My room was gross. There was sticky stuff not only on the bathroom floor but also on the comforter. I had to buy my own pillowcases because it was so gross. There was food or something on all the chairs in the room so I had no place to sit. The ironing board and iron were broken. This place is clearly used for section 8 or homeless people in jersey because I ran into them on the elevator. Just a gross place overall.
