Waste of Money

Was told I would be allowed to check in a little early when I had called the day before. When I get there they say no rooms are ready and I would have to pay $50 dollars for early check in which I was not told over the phone the day before. Had to sit in my car for over an hour because I wasn't trying to pay an extra 50 when I was never told about it. Then when we get back to the hote that night we have a letter that their shutting off power the entire second night of our stay. We should've been told this before checking in. We had to find our room in the dark and also help other people find their room because it was pitch black in the hotel. Was very obvious they did it on purpose because there was an event that weekend. We should've been refunded half our money for that second night atleast .Won't ever stay here again. Horrible experience over all.

Great location, but unfortunate experience

The hotel is fine and the staff was nice; however, they turned off our power from 10 PM on Sun until 6 AM on Mon. They said it was a city requirement, but they conveniently didn't inform us until late Sat night with a letter under our door. I find it hard to believe they didn't know about this in advance and could have informed us sooner. I booked this hotel months in advance for Hard Summer..and nothing was said when I checked in Fri. I spoke to the front desk in Sat to see if we would be credited for this and she said there was nothing they could do. If they gave us a credit they would have to give everyone a credit. That's ridiculous! We had to come back from Hard Summer and get flashlights around midnight just to walk to our room. We couldn't see anything and had no way to make any food and barely shower in the dark. I thought the hotel was fine until this incident that kind of ruined our weekend. I wouldn't stay here again since they were so nonchalant about the power shutdown and offered no alternatives. We were basically told to deal with it in a nicer way.

Very clean .. nice and spacious suite ... facility and breakfast were on point.. I will continue to stay at an Hilton hotel for my travel needs..

Middle of the road location

Nice, clean hotel and conveniently located near freeway. The breakfast experience left a lot to be desired. The kitchen seemed disorganized and when we came to eat they were already out of food.

Deceptive advertising~Hotel.com

Overall it was a great hotel except for the had a malfunctioning air conditioner and despite notifying management we had to open the windows. Throughout the night waking-up because the babies had been getting spooked by outside noise. Also, after traveling 3.5 hours I received a call from the hotel notifying me that our suite was not available anymore, so I had choose from forfeit my payment or choose to two rooms and split the family up.

This hotel was very dirty and the staff was very rude. We got in late after being stuck in traffic for hours and all we wanted to do was enjoy our room and get in bed and it was so gross. The room smelled bad and the bed sheets had black hair all over it and the sheets were stained. The coffee maker didn't work or the ice maker. The web site says that it is a studio sweet and it has a kitchen but they failed to mention you have to bring your own soap and sponge to clean the dirty dishes that were in the cupboards. The halls were filled with trash and the elevator was covered in some sort of cream or paint or lotion. So was the floor. I had to get a napkin just to touch the buttons. When we complained they brushed us off and eventually ended up refunding $50.00 but considering that was no where near what we paid for a two nights stay it did not seem like much at all. We had another trip up there already booked in July and cancled it right away.
