The staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great. I didn't like that expedia booked a king handicap room when I punched a two bed normal room. The staff at the hotel changed that.

$200 per night is too much for this hotel. Needs updating in the rooms. Old TVs. Filthy dirty toilet seat when we checked into the room. You have to sign out pool towels at the front desk as there are none at poolside. Hot tub and poop need cleaning. Gravel, rocks, and dirt on the bottom of both. No continental breakfast. I’ve stayed at some very nice Cambria hotels in other places but this isn’t one of them. Sorry

I got to room therr was dirty glasses w sugar or something poured on glass. Bathroom sink was not wiped down along w poop splattered on inside of toilet. There was cake frosting that was smeared on top of counter where coffee machine was that I sat my purse in. And the fridge was frozen over along w empty monster cans left in it. Room 101.

Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean. Room and bathroom were too dark. Different lighting needs to be installed. Disappointed that power went out for an hour on our first night after a long day of travel. No one seemed to know why or when it would be back on. hotel was convenient to our plans each day. Overall a nice hotel.

Right if the free way so a little loud. Not worth the price.. just like a hotel that costs a lot less but with no breakfast and larger rooms. I should say no free breakfast… the staff was professional and nice but the manger was gruff, a heavy smoker and not very happy. We booked 2 queen beds on Expedia and then got a call they don’t have our room. We had to sleep in a king room with 4 people with no compensation for their mix up. The manger made us feel like we were worth less because we booked on Expedia

Ok room but not worth the $
Room was definitely not worth the amount we paid for it. All furniture was beaten up or broken. We were placed in an ADA room, which was nice for the extra space but the wall in shower flooded the entire bathroom every time you used it because the floor drains aren't sloped correctly. There is absolutely no counter space in the bathroom either which made getting ready each day difficult. Our room was next to a maintenance room which seemed to be accessed all night every night. No one slept well due to the constant hall noise.

Modern and up to date. Even though it was right off the freeway, we didn't hear the traffic noise. Very clean. The staff were very professional and accommodating to our needs. I felt bad for the young gal on Mon, Sept 11, quite a few of the guest came down for breakfast at the same time, she seemed to be overwhelmed, but handled it with grace. Maybe she could have the option to call someone from another area to jump in and help out for the rush. Loved the location of hotel, off the same road as gas station and Common Sense store, information center, and other restaurants.

The lighting in our room was terrible, especially in the bathroom. It was nice having a makeup mirror in the bathroom, but the lighting was too poor to be useful. Our other issue was the noise…being so close to the highway was one thing, but the inside the hotel itself was very noisy, especially in the morning.

We always come to the Cambria if we can get a room, because it is clean, comfortable, has great amenities and is close to Hwy 16 which takes you directly up into the Black Hills. We also like the pool and work out room and the bar/restaurant area. It is also close to other amenities in the outskirts of Rapid City.

Rooms are clean and comfortable beds. Staff was helpful and friendly. I loved the Keurig coffee pot in our room. It was great to have a fresh cup of coffee while getting ready to go for the day.

On the first day we noticed our tub & sink both barely drained. The lock on the bathroom door was broken. We contacted the front desk for these issues. The 2nd night our air conditioner completely quit working. It became very hot in our room. We ended up haven’t to move rooms at 11pm the night I had gotten out of surgery leaving my husband to have to move everything alone. Not exactly what you’d expect for over $300.

The only unsightly thing was outside main entrance there was a trail of something that had been spilled that was the color of dried blood. I would have thought someone would have gone out there to remove it.

Comfortable beds & good sleep
Have stayed here a-few times, comfy beds & air isn’t noisy/disturbing sleep. Room only had afew tissues left & shampoo/soaps should be filled but those are minor.

We had to switch rooms because the toilet seat in our room was broken and laying in the middle of the floor. Second room I think the ac fan was not working very well either. But for a night was ok.

We stayed here one night on our way out to Montana! The staff was super nice. The young lady at the front desk was super helpful and suggested a nearby restaurant, which we went to and enjoyed! Our room was quiet, clean and perfect for the one night stay!
