Property was as expected, rooms was as expected. Beds and pillows were comfy. Happy to have a kitchen, no oven, and we didn’t have enough utensils for our family of 5. Staff was friendly, front desk was friendly, would stay again.

The deal I was able to get for our deluxe studio was extremely affordable- even with two pets! The breakfast provided was good. My son and I were disappointed that the pool was small and the spa wasn’t working. The back door also did not work due to ice freezing the key system. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel and stay again :)

I was not informed until after I checked in the hot tub was down ( one of the main reasons for the stay). We could get in and park easily, the breakfast was delicious.

There were a few things I needed during my stay ( no dish for the microwave, needed quarters for the laundry, needed to extend my stay) and the front desk staff were friendly and immediately resolved whatever I needed. I felt safe here and felt like “ home”. The pool was and hot tub were fun for all of us ( traveled with kids).

This property fit my needs for my trip to Rapid City fo an extended stay. It gave us room to spread out and not feel cooped up in a hotel room for 3 days.

Well to start, when I got to my room there was no toilet paper or towels. I called the front desk and let them know. The desk stated they would have some down shortly. 2 hours of waiting I went to the desk myself and was told they forgot. My first night I had to listen to a lady screaming and crying on the phone in the next room most of the night. The hot tub and floor around had candle wax all over the place. The room was outdated and just grimy looking. The fridge in the room had not been wiped down and was dirty inside. The second night the room on the opposite side of me had their tv blasting and would not turn it down. Definitely will stay somewhere else next time I’m in town.

It took 45 minutes to get checked in because the internet was down and when we finally got checked in the room they gave us hadn’t been cleaned and it took another 30 minutes to get into another room.

Clean, especially the bathroom which impressed me. I ordered room service food and what was supposed to be 45 minutes turned into 90, so consequently my food was cold. Not very appetizing. Other than that I was very happy with my room and stay.

Don't call it Continental breakfast
The staff was great the room was great. The Continental breakfast was A JOKE empty pans that were supposed to have sausage and eggs the only other thing offered was waffles and oatmeal. If you are done serving breakfast 35 minutes after it started adleast get rid of the empty pans. The orange juice was out and the fire out out side does not work. It's -20° here!!!!

It was very affordable for the four of us. Plus you cannot hear your neighbors which is a BIG plus for us with kids. It was clean also... the only thing that bothers me is the drainage in the tub is kinda clog... it drains so slowly the water was almost on my shin after I took a shower.

We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first room was quiet and nice. The second room was not as quiet, missing the sink drain stop, missing the sheer curtains and the sheets had makeup stains on them. Breakfast was also not as expected but decent.

Be more efficient
Really a decent set up for a room. However little things can add up to a poor review. Bathroom walls has either dirty water runs down it or something. Toilet tank and bowl has paint all over it from when they last painted the same wall i just mentioned. If that wall is that dirty then paint was done some time ago means the toilet doesn’t get whiped down or the paint would have been removed by now. Gross buildup on the calking around the toilet to the floor. The tub spout was half threaded on at a angle so basically loose. The shower head is the oldest cheapest one they can buy. One shelf bar on fridge door missing. Ice maker is noisy but doesn’t even make ice so whats the point. Bed was very squeaky any time you moved in it. 3 different times cable went out with a no signal longest was approximately 20 min.

For the price, it was fantastic. It was a whole suite with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen in addition to the main living area. This was less than the price of a regular room. Access to restaurants and shopping was great! The property was not brand-new, but was certainly 4/5, and was very clean. The water pressure in the shower was great. Parking was very nice, and was in a well-lit, safe area. ’ll certainly stay here next time I’m in the area.

I love the grand stay.
Out of all years I've lived in Rapid City beam and stay it at numerous. Different motels for different occasions, birthday parties anniversaries. Just a little bit away as swimming. I've never stayed at this motel until now. And I am very pleased that I did. This has got to be my new favorite hotel out of all of them In rapid The staff was lovely. The property was well maintained Very nice rooms for very low cost I would definitely come back to this motel time. And time again for any occasion that I have going on. If i'm renting a room and rapid i'm renting it at the grand stay

I like to reserve suites because of the separate bedroom. But, the motel needs updating badly. The furniture is old. The room was clean and the employees were exemplary. I would stay there again but sure would like to see updates.

The bathroom amenities were new to me. Instead of individual small bottles of toiletries, there were tamper proof large pump bottles attached to the wall of the shower! Very convenient

We pulled the couch bed out and it was sketchy. The mattress was rather disgusting and there was a lot of playing cards under the couch and so many crumbs; it was obvious that it hadn’t been pulled out and cleaned. The rest of the room was immaculate, however. The room had a kitchenette, one of the stop top ranges wasn’t sitting well in place but it still worked. I like this hotel, regardless of this stay, so I’ll be staying again.

Will stay at again! Obviously renavated some time ago, some areas are showing wear pretty significantly. However, the room size and rate was fabulous. The decor was modern. The bedding was comfy. The shower pressure was amazing. And breakfast was pretty good, with waffles and biscuits and gravy available.Will stay at again!!
