Not ready for customers

I discovered my great rate over the Holiday weekend was due to the hotel still being under construction for their remodel; raw drywall everywhere, some bare concrete where carpet had been removed. My room had been upgraded, except for the heat/air. That was noisy and the thermostat could not hold the temperature. My room was pleasant and pretty new other than that. In-room amenities were lacking, with no refrigerator nor microwave, and the coffee maker spit water everywhere except into the cup (the replacement, which was promptly made, worked fine). My room had decent WiFi and cable TV. With only a dozen or so hotel occupants, WiFi was responsive. Don't know if that will remain true when the hotel fills. Staff was pleasant and courteous. However, at check-in they informed me there would be minimum housekeeping the following day to allow the staff to be with family. Nice for the staff, not so nice for the guests. I did get the coffee maker replaced, dirty towels and linen had to wait.

No TV and somebody else's pizza crust on floor

When I asked for a discount because the TV didn't work and because my baby found pizza crust on the floor the staff said...you got it through Expedia so you already got it at a discount. Ridiculous!!

Cheap and comfortable hotel

Ok hotel. Clean and excellent for the price. The beds were not that comfortable:)

This facility is under construction, renewing all of its old spaces...rooms are very clean and very modern. Lobby area is comfortable. Sorry to see no more pool area or hottub but will be a great meeting space when construction is complete

Decent

Pros: Quiet -- staff was very helpful.
Cons: I can't say I didn't like anything. You get what you pay for, and a good night's sleep at a safe place was all we wanted. This place filled the bill
Location: Great places to eat, right off the Interstate, and a good hub to enjoy all the attractions in the hills.
Room was recently remodeled. This means new paint, carpet and draped. It was clean, not the ritz, but a good place to stay if you aren't looking for luxury --- just a good nights sleep for a decent price.

Great location: close to freeway & places to eat.

Pros: Welcome receptionist, Wendy was real nice. So was early morning staff when we turned in the key cards, he was nice, too.
Comfortable bed. New renovated but the shower did not drain. Water came up to about2 inches.

Under construction NO pool

Dirty,under construction and should not be open. Had to go to another hotel and ask them to call Ramada front desk to check and see if they were open or not, because what turned out to be the front lobby had construction equipment stored in it.

We are undergoing renovations which means we do have unfinished public areas throughout the property. However our guest rooms are completely remodeled, look amazing, and are ready for guests. Location: Nice location. Close to shops and restaurants and if you're in town for something near.
Over the many years that I have booked a hotel I have never had a problem with getting the room that I paid for and made sure there are no substitutions. I arrived to the hotel, it was under construction which sure that's fine I saw that before I booked. Lady at the counter seemed new but went somewhat smooth till I was told my room I booked was not available. They offered me a different room and no small discount at least. On top of that the room was smelly. . . I had been driving all night and day and wanted to sleep so I just didn't bother to argue. I give it a rating of 1 simply because I did not receive the room I booked.
