Smart, modern hotel right on the beach

Great hotel with an excellent kids club in a lovely location, right on the beach. The hotel staff were wonderful and the food delicious. Our only recommendation for improvement would be to review drinks prices. Although these tend to be high in all hotels they seemed particularly expensive at this location, even for water.

Nice beach hotel

Nice break away, great place to relax Not much to do within the area but if you want to rest relax then a really good place

Family friendly and right on the beach

Pros: Family friendly, very courteous staff, nice location.
Cons: The number of restaurant and choice of food
This was my second stay in less than a month. My previous complaints were mainly about the limited choice of restaurants, of which there are still only three but I guess it takes time to build them, whereas service was much better than the first time. Staff at the Italian restaurant did their best to accommodate my requests and I appreciated that very much.

Relaxing Hotel by the sea

Pros: The staff and facilities
Cons: The ability to purchase meal plans with your booking at not have to purchase in resort.
Location: Recommend the desert safari into the Dubai National Park and the drive into the mountains.
Hotel is well equipped and has everything to make your stay enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are a credit to the hotel. Due to its location you need a hire car to be able to explore the surrounding area. Dubai is just over an hour away via the motorway.

Excellent staff, very good Hotel

Pros: The hotel is very family friendly.
Cons: There are only three restaurants, including a buffet one.
Location: The Desert Safari was a lot of fun.
Overall it was a very good vacation and we enjoyed the hotel beach area and facilities. The Hotel Staff is very friendly and kind, though a very few of them were not up to task. The only disappointment was the limited selection of restaurants, only three, including a buffet, and the quality/cost ratio; I was expecting something better. Compared to other similar hotels in the UAE, the buffet selection was limited.

Great hotel with good facilities for the family

Pros: The beach, the pools
Cons: Shower wasn't very powerful, towels weren't always available for the beach
Location: On the beach, with good restaurants. Manar Mall is nearby, so is RAK Mall
Very good hotel with good facilities. Excellent private beach, great breakfast. Plenty to keep the kids occupied. There was some work going on with the villas but that was far away. They struggle a bit with towels for the beach at busy times. But overall, a good hotel, good location.

Falling in standard since previous stays

Pros: Relaxed Style Beach
Cons: More Deckchair space Please get the deserts updated... they are poor. All inclusive should be all inclusive... this was a real pain point on this trip
Location: The location is improving - great mountain nearby - Jebel Jais... a tough early morning cycle... stunning rock formations.
We have always liked Hilton resort & Spa RAK. However we can tell on this visit that the standard is starting to fall. The food quality was not great - with little variation night on night. Deserts were very poor. The all inclusive excluded far more items than on previous visits. Simple things like a milk shake for kids was excluded from all inclusive. Deck chair space has always been a contentious point at this hotel - but not a huge issue. The nice beach bar closes at 6pm... so no chance to relax with a drink and the sea breeze in the evenings. Service was very slow in the restaurant by the pool. All in all, we felt let down on this visit. It is a pity, because this hotel has great potential.

Wonderful, fantastic family hotel

Great family hotel, friendly staff, great environment, spa and kids area are good too. Went with my 8 year old and 1 year old. Food great. Definitely go again.
