First time in RAK
This is an excellent hotel. I was upgraded to a sea view with twin a Queen beds and given WIFI access in my room, only for three devices. There is some construction taking place at the entrance and on the beach.
The staff provide excellent customer service and the breakfast buffet offered a wide range of options.

All inclusive, something here for everyone
Very nice hotel. Loved the all inclusive package. Only a few things that we didn't like but the good outweighed the bad. The bed was very uncomfortable and the service was really slow at one of the meat a la carte restaurants one evening. The salads were not very good..dont order a chicken ceaser salad or wrap trust me. But the other food was really good. Very impressed with Fishbone restaurant. Amazing food and good service. I'd recommend the Spa to unwind, my husband and I had a really great couples massage.. we used an entertainer coupon no problem. All of the staff were really accommodating and very helpful. All in all if your planning on visiting RAK definitely try this place out...for a night or two if you can handle the bed...try to upgrade..I recall from a previous stay they have comfier beds if you go up a class or two from a basic room with one double bed.

Good hotel, Great views BUT !! water issue ..!!
its a good hotel, great views but i faced some issues
i waited for almost 1 hour to check-in and go to my room because there was a water leakage in my room!!
it happened once while i was taking a shower the water has been cut and come back again several times so it was too annoying
and the water has been cut from 2am to 5am when i complained they sent me water bottles and they told me it will be fixed by 5am, But it happened again at the same timing from 2am to 5am ..!!

Great staff. Good hotel.
This our 2nd visit. The staff are always very polite and courteous. The rooms are large and comfortable. However, the food and drink remain very expensive - a meal of burgers and chips with soft drinks for 4 costs over 200 AED, £60. There are no outside places to eat within walking distance, so you are restricted to eating in the hotel if you don't have a car. My advice is to go at least half-board or all-inclusive. Also, when the hotel has a high occupancy, it's very difficult to get a sun-lounger.

Great location, nice staff
Our check in was very quick and we were upgraded to a suite by mr Singh who was very polite. He offered us suggestions on things to do in RAK. The hotel is located right on the corniche with great eateries around. The hotel service was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Great value for money!

One of the best in the region but...
Great hotel going through a transition to a new operating company (Ritz Carlton). Staff was great and the experience is outstanding, but there's quite a bit of work to do to get up to the standards that I expect of Ritz (and they expect from themselves). I expect to see big changes over the next year and look forward to my next visit!
