The guest in the neighbouring room was being rather noisy and I knew that it would disturb my sleep, so I approached reception and they were kind enough to offer an alternative, quiet room in which I slept well... :-) I was also very impressed with the breakfast. “We found the Belmont House Hotel easily, and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. The hotel itself is lovely, with tasteful décor, and our room was comfortable. Unfortunately, our stay was quite affected by the noise that evening. The bar was closed for a private event, and there was loud music and quite a bit of rowdiness both outside and around the main lobby area. As a result, it was very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. When planning our trip, I had specifically avoided……
