Staff was nice but room mot cleaned

Several empty beer cans in room from previous occupants. Room not even cleaned on 3rd might stay. We were given a free room for third night because of poor cleaning conditions

Nice hotel on the way to Colorado

Good place to stop. There are not very many places to stop in raton. This one seemed as though it would suit my husband's need for a rest stop

Clean and quiet

Check in was good, recommended a few good restaurants in the area. Some are closed on Tuesdays???? They off a light evening snack of cold cuts,with soft hogie rolls, and cookies. Not bad. Room and hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. Bed very comfy. Close to interstate, my room was on the I 25 side and i couldn't hear any cars or trucks. Breakfast was good, typical buffet style, with everything u need. Overall great stay, zero complaints.

First place to stay when you reach Raton

Pros: Not much honestly.
Cons: Room descriptions need to be updated to reflect the truth! We got a normal old room when paying almost $200 for a suite.
Location: Not much nearby, we had to drive into Raton to find something to eat.
Way overpriced, rooms are not what you would expect at their price point. Front desk clerk was unfriendly, rude and made it clear that we were not welcome and were interrupting her evening. She was short with her responses, we asked if anything delivered and got a very cold and nasty "not on a Sunday!" response. Parking lot was not plowed and was covered in snow, one guest got stuck in it and it had stopped snowing a day before we arrived so they had plenty of time. There were large patches of ice on the sidewalks going into the building, no ice melt was used and the ice was dangerous. The room is NOT a suite. It is a normal room with a love seat area that does not have a television to go with it. Very disappointed.

We appreciate your comments and honest feedback. Yes, Raton is a very small town and does have limited options when it comes to restaurants and delivery service. We do offer a complimentary evening manager's reception with beverages and both hot and cold items. We hope that you will consider staying with us in the future should your travels bring you back to the area.

It was ok, except for the mold in the corners of the shower, the "stuff" on the plumbing under the sink (which was open for view while using the toilet) and the dust on the a/c vents.

We use guest comments as training tools to let the staff know how our hotel is seen by the guests and are thankful for your input. Often guests have different view points from our staff.
