Great location and quality hotel
Although it was after the summer season we were surprised how quiet the hotel and area was. The Universal in made up to two differently designed parts joined by a central lobby and uppper floor restaurant so it has different lifts going to different parts. Staff were really friendly and always very helpful. There is an underground garage (chargeable), as well as street parking but we had our car parked in the sister hotel across the side street. There are not many restaurants to eat at close by other than the hotel but a short drive takes you up to the marina / harbour area and centre of Cervia where there is a far wider choice. The hotel is a great central location for travelling around the area as well as being right across from the beach but it does not have any private area although ample options exist. Swimming pool is heated and was fantastic, as was the jaccuzi. Again ample loungers by the pool and umbrellas for shade. We were there with breakfast included which again was extensive and covered every option - really impressive. Rooms were smaller than some but typical of area and for age of hotel.No room safe and limited english TV channels if that is required. All in all an excellent Italian rated 4 star hotel which I would consider returning to if I was in the area.

Stanze molto piccole, arredi datati, bagno vecchio. Comunque molto pulito e comodo come posizione ma parcheggio non disponibile per tutti (meglio prenotare). Ottima colazione. Costo eccessivo per il livello dell’hotel.

Hotel a 4 stelle che dovrebbe averne 3 (o forse 2) Ero in viaggio per lavoro e tutte le sere si sentiva musica fino a tarda notte. La mia camera non era così bella, molto vecchia con apertura della doccia difettosa. Ho consumato al mini bar e il giorno dopo non è stato neanche fatto il refill, sono tornata la sera e non c’era neanche un po’ d’acqua. Al check out, nonostante ero di fretta (ero lì per lavoro non in vacanza come probabilmente gli altri clienti), mi hanno fatto aspettare 20 minuti per avere la ricevuta della tassa di soggiorno. Ciliegina sulla torta, ho chiesto di poter lasciare la macchina nel loro garage (garage vuoto), ma mi hanno detto che per lasciare la macchina altre 2h avrebbero applicato la tariffa giornaliera

Buona la piscina, c'è sempre sole o da un lato o dall'altro, nonostante sia tra i palazzi. L'area fitness appena possibile, buona la parte cardio, ma l'attrezzo per gli esercizi funziona appena. Colazione buona, ma bisogna fare attenzione alla sala giusta, ci sono insieme un 3 e un 4 stelle, che fanno colazione in sale attigue e con livelli diversi di qualità. Ho sentito clienti lamentarsi di aver sbagliato sala per scarsa informazione, anche io ho sbagliato il primo giorno. La chiave è ancora metallica e con grosso e scomodo portachiavi, preferisco le serrature elettroniche

Un 4 stelle che assomiglia molto ad un 3 stelle scadente.Camere minuscole e molto datate. Personale rumeno/moldavo low cost con conseguenze sul servizio ai tavoli pessimo. Unica nota positiva la colazione. Non ci siamo. Prezzo alto per il servizio offerto

Struttura nello standard ma servizi deludenti.in modo particolare la gestione del parcheggio a pagamento dell’hotel. Abbiamo pagato una tariffa giornaliera superiore a quella indicata all’entrata del parcheggio (15 euro invece di 12) e ci hanno fatturato 2 giorni ( 30 euro) per una sosta dalle h 23,30 alle h 17 del giorno successivo.

Schönes Mittelklassehotel mit Meerblick
Das Hotel hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es liegt direkt am Strand nur durch eine Strasse getrennt. Zum Zentrum sind es zu Fuss ca.10-15 Minuten. Abends ist es etwas laut.

Wij voelden ons echt welkom
Universal is een ruim opgezet prima onderhouden hotel op een prachtlocatie: tegenover het kilometers lange strand, met tal van restaurants, bars en winkeltjes om de hoek. Wij verbleven op de 3e verdieping in een kamer met balkon met uitzicht op zee en hebben genoten van de gezellige drukte. Maar zodra de balkondeuren dicht waren, was er nauwelijks iets van te horen. Ook beschikken de kamers over verduisterende rolluiken, geen overbodige luxe in de hete en zonnige julimaand. Wie niet van zand en zee houdt, kan in het hotel zelf terecht in een schitterend en groot zwembad. Aan de voorkant nodigt een groot terras uit tot uitpuffen in de schaduw. Wij gebruikten alleen ontbijt (half en vol pension is ook mogelijk), en dat was zeer divers en smakelijk. En overal troffen wij vriendelijk en hoffelijk personeel. Wij voelden ons echt welkom.

Hotel molto curato. Staff disponibile e gentile. Sicuramente ci ritorneremmo. Stanza famiglia molto confortevole ed spaziosa. Il mio bambino era molto soddisfatto 😀 di avere a disposizione tutto quel spazio. Da celebrare e complimentarsi con il personale che nel tardo pomeriggio o prima serata. Aveva la delicatezza di passare in stanza per controllare e chiedere se c’era bisogno di qualche sciugamano in più e/o qualche rifornimento per l’igiene. Complimenti. Di solito in altre strutture bisogna riconccorrere per averne magari qualche materiale mancanti. Sicuramente se ritorniamo in quelle zone. Ci ritorneremmo in questo hotel. Soggiorno molto tranquillo e rilassanti. Mi complimento anche per la vasta oferta della colazione e per l’attenzione del personale in sala.

Considerando il prezzo pagato per la camera, mi aspettavo una stanza da 4 stelle. Il bagno era disposto male, nessun tavolino o appoggio dove poter mettere un beauty, non c'era la doccia ma c'era una vasca con incastrata tra due muri, quindi poco spazio di manovra per fare il bagno. La terrazza era grande e con vista mare, bellissima, alla reception la cordialità era ottima, la piscina era fantastica e la colazione sublime, parcheggio gratuito.

Pessima stanza. Pagata come doppia standard in realtà un sotto tetto. Bagno con tetto spiovente. Niente doccia perché ovviamente nn ci stava. Finestra minuscola che si apre sul corridoio interno. Camera 532 da evitare.

Hotel praticamente sul mare,basta attraversare la strada e si è in spiaggia.la camera singola che mi è stata assegnata era un po piccolina per essere un 4 stelle ma dotata di letto matrimoniale formato da 2 materassi separati.in compenso pulizia e gentilezza del personale sono eccellenti. Lo consiglio a tutti.

Anche se non si puó parlare di un vero hotel 4 stelle (diciamo che è un 3 superior) è confortevole, le camere, pur non essendo grandi, sono pulite e confortevoli. Ottimo il servizio di prima colazione. Consigliato il servizio di parcheggio.
