Out standing

Posted Sep 18, 2017
Pros: Every thing
Cons: Maybe the beds a little bit softer would be nice
Location: Local is perfect not too busy and still plenty to do
The Vijitt Resort and their staff are outstanding. From the moment we arrived the service was perfect. They provide an amazing taxi service to local areas and shopping malls which is free. All the staff are a credit to the resort. We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you Vijitt Resort.

The pool is great, but far from everything.

Posted Aug 7, 2017
The pool area is great but that's pretty much it! The rooms are outdated with old patio furniture with stained cushions. Do not stay on the two floor suites, it is two floors but is doesn't communicate. No swim beach, muddy, no clear water. Rawi is far from everything; one hour from the airport and 30 minutes from the old town. Food is good and staff is friendly.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your comments while staying with us at the resort. Our villa, pretty much, made of wood and we also use color in dark brown so that the atmospher is look darken. The two floor stories consist of one bedroom on one floor and the other floor is sitting room however the swimming pool is on the top floor. It is suit for a couple or a family with a grown up kids. The beach in front of hotel is tidal beach however we also have schedule shuttle bus to Rawai and Naiharn Beaches as well as Patong Beach too. The benefit for our beach: no any massage on the beach, no motor scooter and no selling things on the beach. Rawai is situated at the south of Phuket Island and closed to Chalong Pier (go to many island trips), Big Buddha, Chalong Temple, Promthep Cape (sunset point) plus many restaurants around the area. Once again, thank you for your visit and hope to see you again soon. With my best wishes, Chris

Resting luxury experience

Posted Aug 5, 2017
Pros: Quietness, service
Cons: Breakfast variety
Location: Great location, the hotel could have it's own boat little excursions to the nearby islands?
An amazing room within quiet a quiet 5* hotel, great service. Just a couple of things could be improved: Taxis and bus fees, the buffet breakfast could be improved with a variety of fresh products like fruits, we never had fresh mangoes in one week stay, and light breakfast options would be better, for whoever is on a diet there was no muesli, skim milk, rye/wholemeal bread. I think a 5-star hotel can afford these little details.

The rooms were outdated and uncomfortable; windows were unclean; wifi was slow and we couldn't call each other from room to room; and the view where we stayed was nothing like on the website. There was no breeze at the resort which was full of mosquitoes and hence smoke to get rid off them at dusk. Overall, old and overpriced for what it is.

Dear Anna, Thank you for your message and apologize for unable providing you with your satisfaction. The hotel is about 9 years old however we do touch up and keep maintaining our resort annually. The telephone in each villa, I can guarantee that working and able to call room to room. The resort has many room catagories however if you book for Deluxe Villa, there was no seaview but if you book under Seaview then you will get one. We provide and allocate room type according to your reservation. The hotel is right on the beach however the breeze will aways around. The mosquitoes, yes because we are among the trees and nature however we also provide "lemon grass spray" in each room. Once again, thank you for your visit and look forward to seeing you back again soon. With my best wishes, Chris

Too pricey for the service

Posted Jul 13, 2017 on Hotels
Let me start with the cons and end on a good note. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a very lack lustre staff. Through out the entire hotel stay, most of the staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered. The level of English wasn't very good either. The front desk staff's overall attitude often times made us feel we were annoying, lots of stares and eye rolling. The hotel rooms very very spacious. The wifi in the room went in and out. And during our stay, it rained during the middle of the night. Due to the constructions of the roof, the rain noise was very loud. We were all woken up by the rain falling on the roof tops. I felt like I was camping. And to make matters worse, they charged us for a laundry bag. Which one our my friend took and kept for her dirty laundry. The cons, The staff at the V spa were fantastic. They were kind, soft spoken and very helpful. The staff at the restaurant were also very nice. The food was good. However, they don't have a 24 hour menu. Overall, The hotel was quite pricey for the service and the location was quite far away from the major towns but it's very close to Nai Harn beach. The hotel grounds were very extensive. I just feel they could invest more and create more dining options for their guests. There's only one big area with the dining and bar.

Great hotel for a relaxing break

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Pros: It was quiet, comfortable room and friendly staff
Cons: Cleaning of the room sometimes didn't get done until late afternoon. the sun beds at the pool and rooms were very uncomfortable, need some padding.
Location: Rawai fish market and restaurants are great and 5 minute taxi, 15 minute walk. Don't bother with Patong Beach, awful place
Had a beach side room, which is handy for the pool and restaurant. Was there for a relaxing week and the resort didn't fail to deliver. It's on the quieter side of the island but is close to Rawai which has excellent sea food. We also ate at the restaurant which had a great menu at reasonable prices. Pool is fantastic with amazing views, we're weren't beach people but if you were it's probably not the place for you. There is no beach as such and the water is shallow a long way out, so no real swimming in the sea. we used the Spa & massage which was nice but obviously pricier than outside. The shuttle bus isn't brilliant as very limited times, we rented a car which is cheaper to do from Rawai than the hotel
