This was booked for us thru Expedia as a days inn. Showed up and it was now the magnussin. The staff was barely helpful. Had to ask for enough towels. Hallways were filthy. Was told it had a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was in a room with no lights with tools and paint buckets laying around. The lady came in and said all we have is cereal, which was stale. Very disappointed in the magnussin and Expedia.

Well under what I would expect from Expedia

Having received confirmation of booking on 19 December and notification that our stay was coming up, we drove into car park and our hearts sank. Hotel looked run down, went into dirty reception and was greeted with an A4 sheet of hand written note saying if you want help then phone xxxxx. Leant over desk and saw young girl on her mobile phone out back, eventually she came out and said they had no rooms. I explained I had booked through Expedia and that I was expected. She just said we are full up, Expedia always doing that and walked away. Part of me was furious as we had booked 6 months in advance and given bank card details but a big part of me thinks we had a good escape. Please Expedia review this hotel personally before leaving anyone else high and dry with no where to sleep. Car park had one other car in it.

The only reason we booked here was for the pool which we were told upon arrival was not open. The rooms were dirty and we did not even have toilet paper.

Nice hotel

Under new owner, so no breakfast. Also had a bar. Other than that, very nice staff and decent rooms.

Nothing said about the pool being seasonal, exercise room was pretty bad looked like garage sale equipment.
