Pros: convenient to highway with clean room and service
Cons: waffle iron needs to have the handles tightened
Location: only stayed overnight with onward travel priority
easy to arrange reservation online, superb service by staff, breakfast area spacious and well equipped with first class food items, nice people to have conversation with in the food area, will plan to stay here next time we travel this way, recommend this hotel.

Pretty GoodPosted Oct 6, 2015 on Hotels
I booked the room thru hotelsdotcom. Upon arrival, the night clerk printed out my receipt but the receipt did not list my correct address or my correct credit card info, but it did have my correct name. I brought this to the clerk's attention, who said to bring it up with the daytime clerk as he'd never seen this before. Night clerk seemed quite knowledgeable about everything else, though, so I wasn't too concerned. He was very personable, very friendly and nice to all of us. Morning clerk stated that the receipt printing out my name with a different address and credit card info is unique to hotelsdawtcom; that the address and CC info is actually that of hotelsdawtcohm. Okay. Doesn't make sense to me, and I don't remember this happening before, but I'll check my CC statement just to be sure. The breakfast room was HUGE, unlike many hotels I've stayed at before. However, breakfast selection was pretty limited--the usual cold cereal, make-your-own waffles, toast, etc., although I did like the biscuits & gravy. So, the food won't stick to your ribs, nor was it especially tasty, but it's food, and you'll get fed. Really liked the attention to comfort--the fresh, complimentary cookies and popcorn, the lending library, complimentary newspapers, and so on. I can't remember much about the room or the cleanliness, so they must be doing something right. Overall, not the best, but certainly not the worst. Worth staying at again for a quick sleepover.

Lobby artsPosted Sep 9, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is old but has good effort. We enjoy their free cookies and popcorn while waiting for our room, we like their art gallery in the lobby. The room is clean and quiet. The breakfast area is spacious. Like the hotel overall, will stay here again.

Very outdated and in need of an overhaulPosted Aug 26, 2015
Cons: new everything
Location: There is a very interesting "frontier prison" in the town. Tours start at 8:30 am and last about an hour.
We came late at night and left early in the morning but there was no iron in the room and the girl at the desk could not find one, but the woman in the morning eventually found one. The place was old and dingy.

They need to spend some money herePosted Aug 15, 2015
Our room had either a leaking tub and/or toilet. The hairdryer didn't work - when the receptionist TRIED to get me into another room to use it, she couldn't make her main key work. The maintenance man never did show up. Will never go here again.

Good rest stop in RawlinsPosted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels
Was traveling between destinations and chose Days Inn for it's convenience to the interstate. A decent room, good price, friendly staff and again, a great location.
