Nice staff. Not a clean feel. Back door which is normally locked, was broken, and unlocked all night..

Could of been better...

Posted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: Internet worked really well. The room was a non smoker room. It must of been a conversion. Still smelled like smoke.
Location: Walmart had the nicest staff. Not a lot of choices to stay.
The staff came right out and handed me room keys and left. Last of saw of them. The room was ok clean. Wife found a bug on the bed in the morning. Ripped the bedding apart for bugs. Couldn't find any evidence or any more. Internet worked great. TV was ok. Breakfast was pour at best. Ate at the donut shop. It was not good either. Nicest place in town was Walmart and the on ramp.

Very Run Down

Posted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Clean the place. Put some money into it.
Location: Location was great, on the main drag.
Moldy bathroom, dirty walls and linens, fixtures old and not cleaned, breakfast not open at 6 as advertised. Luckily I was tired but overall it was kind of scary. I did finally fall asleep and slept fine. I will not stay here again.

Stay here if you are out of options

Posted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Bulldoze it
Location: The old state pen seems to be the leading attraction. We arrived in town too late to sample it. Train spotters will likely enjoy the views of the yard
A run down old hotel, with noisy old style aircon. The bathroom was a disgrace, with peeling ceiling paint from multiple repair patches, broken shower moulding which will be letting water into wall linings. Bed was ok. At checkin, the attendant informed me that I had booked a smoking room (which I never do) but did offer to change for us, which was the one redeeming part of this experience. Typical of this style of site, it was easy to find on the edge of town, wifi was functional, but the breakfast was a parting disappointment, way below the standard of most of the similarly priced venues I have sampled on this trip. I enjoyed the road out of town sorry Rawlins

Close to Business Meeting location

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Hot Breakfast was included from 6 to 9 AM. I got there at 10 till 9 and almost everything had been cleared. Best if 10 minutes longer, not shorter.
OK, stayed only one night. Close to meeting location.

Rathole motel

Posted Aug 18, 2015
The wife and I drove to California from Columbus Ohio recently and booked one night through Expedia. It was hands down the worst motel of the entire trip. Dirty, run down no breakfast as advertised and unfriendly staff. I booked the rest of the trip through chain websites and they were all very nice. If this is how Expedia saves people money, I want no part of it. Please remove me from your list and any accounts I may have. Thank you.

Worse smell, very poorly managed

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Never beem to any place this bad for the price, $100 a night. Very poorly managed to yhe the point there is no trace of any maintenance. Worst smell room and most old appearing shower with stains and cracks. At least bed was bearable to lay down. My son had 2 bug bites.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
BED BUGS AND FILTHY WITH A HORRIBLE STAFF MEMBER!! When we arrived to the hotel late at night they said that Expedia's credit would not be excepted and they charged us double what the rate is that we were confirmed with Expedia. At 130 at night with my family in the car the girl with the last name Patel and Expedia were both fighting to try and get us a room and for the rate that we should've paid. The girl at the front desk with the last name Patel was horrible and yelled at me a customer and overcharge me for my room. That is the best part of this day. Next we get in our room and I felt like bugs were biting me in our bed. The next morning we wake up to a crudey continental breakfast of leftover donuts toast and cereal. My children tell me that they felt like ants were crawling over them in their sleep. It was obvious that our beds were full of bedbugs!!! I immediately told the manager who was the same girl who yelled at me late the night before and I told her about all of my family members feeling like they were a bit while we were sleeping and she had no remorse and was condescending and said that it was probably some other bug that was biting us because they don't have bedbugs but they don't take any precautions to clean the rooms. The walls were dirty the bathroom is filthy and the staff was nasty and the bedbugs put everything over the edge. Do not stay here!!! Ps the sheets had old human blood stains on them when we looked for bugs.

What a horrible hotel! Very dirty and poorly maintained. Breakfast was equally disappointing. Don't waste your money.

Worst hotel on the planet?

Posted Jun 27, 2015
We requested a non-smoking room, and ended up with a smoking room, so they moved us to another room. We packed up all of our stuff, and when we got to the new room, they were still cleaning it- at 10:00 at night! They moved us to another room, which didn't smell like smoke, but rather like urine. The staff was disorganized and not helpful at all. Finally, the continental breakfast was supposed to go until 9:00 am, but unless there wasn't much to begin with, it seemed everything was put away at 8:30. Also, the floors had a thick layer of dust, and I'm not sure they had a vacuum in the place. Stay away!
