Good place shame about the beds

Posted Feb 13, 2017
Booked double bed but got two singles pushed together - worse still the mattresses were vinyl covered - so they were hot, sweaty and almost impossible to sleep -they moved/sliped every time either of us moved. Really crap sleep - room had many visible squashed mosquitos on walls that were never cleaned in out 6 night stay.

Old hotel but right on the beach

Posted Jan 8, 2017
Pros: Right at the beach and nice and quiet
Cons: WiFi
Location: Beach
Place is old but good rooms, plain but clean pool and beach right across the road. Very quiet location at the end of a long beach so almost secluded..wifi a bit slow but ok

This hotel needs TLC. Beds are rock hard. WYFI drops in and out. Hotel needs maintenance. Everything else is okay.

The hotel is all right

Posted Jun 20, 2016
Pros: Price, solitude, swimming pool, adequate for a single traveller to have a place to sleep and rest.
Cons: The curtains were a bit dirty, bedsheets and towels are a bit old or used. OK for a budget traveller.
Location: Nearby: Mini store @ the front. Beach and beach vendors. Some massage kiosks. Far: pier to Koh Samet, bus station, 'downtown', ATM machine.
The hotel is all right if you want a stay outside of Ban Phe 'downtown' or close to Mae Rumphung Beach. The beach is just a 1 minute walk from here, but pretty much almost everything is far from this hotel, but at least that gives you some solitude. If you chose a mountain view room, that gives you even more quiet nights. The swimming pool is nice and right at the front of the hotel there is a mini store where you can buy some basic supplies. For food walk to the beach, there are street vendors selling authentic Thai finger food that you can consume right on the beach sitting on one of their simple sunbeds.

Beautiful Beach location

Posted Apr 13, 2016
Pros: It's a bit old but cheap good stay, exactly what we wanted
Cons: The taxi / shuttle service a bit pricey
Location: Beaches, islands, markets, everything is around and best if you have a rental car. Town is about 10 klms away
Nice hotel with the beach directly over the road in a quiet area

Spacious, clean but don't take their advice

Posted Jan 9, 2016 on Hotels
Large spacious room, very clean. The staff unfortunately sent us to a terrible travel and your agency that ended in a nightmare. They overcharged us and the suggestion was horrible. They had to have known that the agency did this. The hotel car driver took us there and told us they would take care of us. It was horrible.
