The water in bathroom not clean and the wall also not clean when I am check in I saw some plate that use already stay at the front of my room until my data check out it still there nobody picked up to clean it You should fixing your hotel staff for to be clean and great service just us you get 4stars

WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND
The hotel is a long way from anywhere - without a car, you would find it very difficult. The hotel is quite run down and needs some serious maintenance. When we checked in, the room they gave us, after walking to the room, was already occupied! Not very good! When we tried to park our car, there was no spaces available (due to staff filling the carpark park!) so we needed to park 300meters away in a black allotment next door. The beach was very very dirty with litter, and no effort had been made to tidy it up.

Beautiful setting right on the beach. Outdoor faciilties, pool, dining were very nice and well designed. Overall the hotel upkeep was poor. Staff was incredibly unhelpful. Checking in took 20 minutes, we asked for a taxi and they argued with us about the location of our destination and then told us a hotel taxi was not available. did not offer to call a public taxi, we had to do that ourselves.

Old hotel, very dirty beach and slow service
The hotel is very old and everywhere are signs that there is construction ongoing. Actually no construction was visible. The business seems to run not bad in this hotel but nobody is interested in maintaining the buildings. The beach in front of the hotel is very dirty. The guesthouse direct at the beach is in catastrophic conditions. Unbelievable that guests could stay there. It’s more like an abandoned old house. But we saw people which got a room there. Woooow, very scary. The food at the breakfast was okay. My son broke a glass bottle in the room. We left the room because the kids couldn’t walk anymore as there were everywhere glass splitter on the floor. I asked the staff the clean the floor while we are at the breakfast. After 1,5h nothing was done and the last from the receiption finally did it. They mentioned the maids are in a meeting....

I arrived about 5 pm and the staff had no record of my booking. After getting things sorted out and I got taken to my room, I was greeted with an amazing sea view from my balcony. Unfortunately that was about the only good thing I have to say about the hotel. The balcony and the toilet was really dirty. That balcony had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. I tried to order room service but the phone in my room was broken, so I had to go outside to use the phone next to the elevator to order. The AC unit badly in need of being replaced. Yes it worked but it was very noisy and even though I turned it down to low, it wasn't much better. Even the entrance area on arrival just looked dirty and dusty, obviously there is no management there that has any pride in the place anymore. I think this hotel was probably very nice a long time ago but it just feels so run down and unclean. I wouldn't stay there again

Run down hotel, owner doesn't seem to care anymore
My wife and I stayed at this hotel years ago several times before. However, this time was absolutely our last time. From a quality, condition, & service, this hotel has fallen off the cliff. I am stunned by the mismanagement, poor maintenance, poor condition, poor breakfast, poor service, and various safety risks presented to customers. It is obvious, the owner does not seem to care for his customer. Also, keep in mind, as the owner is building a new & large blue/red color hotel almost next door. I will avoid this too, as the experience with the “Royal Phala Cliff Beach Resort” tells me: If the owner did not care before, what makes you think he will care later.

Unexpected Find
We originally only chose this since it was close to the airport and we were flying early the next morning, however we ended up really enjoying our stay! All rooms face the ocean. Spectacular ocean and pool views (although we did not swim in the ocean, we did enjoy the pool). Staff was nice and we ended up in a large room with one King bed and one twin for two people. Not sure how much there is to do around here since we only stayed one night but the hotel does offer a nice and affordable restaurant.

We are a small family with a 2.5-year old boy. We went to visit Rayong in vacation period of Thailand for three days. The hotel was enough for relaxation, with good atmosphere but some disappointment.

Good Hotel with great beach view and beach access.
The location is a sleepy fishing Village and the Hotel overlooks the beach and ocean. It's a good breezy sea side location and the Hotel has 3 very nice swimming pools. The large Lobby and ground floor eating areas are kept spotlessly clean. There are old wings of the hotel that are very very tired, needing refurbishment.! The new rooms have the same good layout all with beachside balconies. It is a large hotel but it was very quiet when I stayed. Breakfast was very good, with a good range of food available. Staff were friendly but a bit reserved. If your looking for a quiet location with a great view, this is the place.

I have traveled to many places in the world, and have stayed at many hotels in Thailand both on the mainland and on the islands, and I must say of all I have stayed at I was extremely disappointed in the hospitality and "lack" of friendliness at this hotel. This is far removed from the very normal, warm, smiling, welcoming you receive from Thai Hotels. Upon check in (and it was not busy) it took them time to find my reservation, I finally provided my expedia copy. I had to ask them for someone to assist me with the bags, when they gave me my room key, they pointed in a certain direction, never having been there before......I had to request again. My fiance and I stayed there, yet they would only provide 1 room key, even when asked, they would but for an additional 300 B, the money was not the issue, it was the point, 2 people in one room, but only one key...never ran into that before. The breakfast staff where anything but hospitable, when I asked for an omelet the chef (lady) just nodded to a plate, that had 2 "pre-cooked" omelets that had every sign of being cold...I opted out of that. It did not appear overly clean either, birds were flying in and picking up scraps on the counters, most of the steam warmers, were not warm..it goes on and on. To summarize, extremely disappointing, and I will never stay there again...nor recommend it...and if I do only to warn potential visitors.

Tired Hotel in need of a facelift
This is one seriously tired hotel, looks like it's about to go out of business. Everything needs renovating or redecorating. There are no European TV channels whatsoever, there was mould all round the bathroom and the hotel had a general air of weariness. Restaurant is best avoided, by day 2 at breakfast it was as if they had run out of food...... Cheap rooms in a great location (seaview was great) but needs a few million spending on it.

This hotel could use some maintenance. The first thing that hit me was the creaky boardwalk out to the panoramic sea view room. Then the rusty railings on the balcony of the rooms (a little paint would have saved a bigger problem). Beach could do with some clean up. Need feet wash place at the beech as people bring the sand into the hotel. Need some maintenance. Basic things like re-stick the room numbers missing off the walls. I took photos of the things so can send to the hotel if they contact me. Bed was good. Nice next to the sea. Staff were fine. No complaints. The breakfast was disappointing, with the potatoes tasting as if they were re-heated (from the day before?) They had practically ran out of some of the dishes - chicken Thai sweet and sour by 8:15am. After 30 minutes it wasn't replenished. Synthetic orange 90% Thai people.

This was our second stay here and we were disappointed. We booked a seafront room which didn't turn out to be good value for money. Nice that it was on the seafront but that was all. Aircon didn't cool well enough, small room, not very clean. Couldn't get any channels on the TV. Manager was helpful and supplied us with a fan.

The hotel is good. The beach is pretty good , not many people, personal and can swim. However the hotel building B infrastructure is not good. The shower is too spray! Sometime a power outage, and no slipper provided.

Worst hotel ever, anywhere.
In short, this hotel is a dump. Dangerous underfoot(I fell off a tiny step in reception area that was marked BEWARE (in Thai, I learned later)I couldn't walk for three days. There was broken furniture everywhere round the pool and nails sticking out of the boardwalks. The free towels for the pool were like shredded rags, when they arrived. The room had air conditioning that sounded noisier than a tuk tuk. (807) The bed clothes were threadbare with holes in them that matched those of the curtains. The beach is a dog toilet and the debris on it is a disgrace to Thailand not just the hotel.The restaurant is overpriced and less than average, the entertainment is a singing pianist who sounds like he needs a career break and the cashier could not work a credit card machine. I would like to say something nice about it so I will say it is not representative of Thailand which is brilliant. Avoid this place, it really is woeful.

I have stayed before - so knew what to expect. It is a hotel that appears to have been over ambitious in its expansion; and appears to have very low occupancy rates. One frustration I found was trying to book a room for the following weekend at reception - they refused and told me to go on-line and book.

I stayed 1 night this hotel. My room is cheapest one. It's old, but keep clean. I recomend to stay new building. Old tower don't have Wifi, Hot pot. I like this hotel, because I realy have relux time.

Good hotel if you are in the main hotel .
Beach was a let down .needs cleaning up .lots of debris - bottles,plastic ,polystyrene etc Don't stay in the old wing - not shown in the brochure . It is very tired . The small extra charge for the newer main hotel is well worth it .

Beware Phala Wing Rooms!
Beware the Phala Wing Rooms! They are located in the old hotel building next door and are very run down. Absolutely horrible rooms. The pictures are quite misleading, as they are of the new hotel built next to it with its own separate facilities, and not of the actual Phala Wing rooms. Best to spend a few extra dollars on the Panorama rooms... Apart from the better view, they are new and also the only rooms with a proper stand alone shower next to the bath tub (the other rooms have a shower head on a hose in the bath tub only).

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. Staff nice,but they didn't speak English almost at all. The beach next to hotel was dirty and it was not possible to swim in the sea. Room was very comfortable and had a very beautiful view over the pools and sea.

2024年々始にタイ人の親族と5名で3部屋に三泊いたしました。 私(日本人)の印象としては、かつて栄えたであろう在りし日の面影を残したリゾートホテルといったところでしょうか。 良い意味で 寂れています。 3部屋ともダブルルームでしたが WベッドとSベッドが一つづつあり、かなり広く 同行者は皆驚いていました。 英語を話すフロントスタッフも数人(親切)いますし、朝食会場のレストランスタッフにも一人(貴重)いました。 ホテル名の通りクリフの斜面に建てられていますので、海岸端のビルディングでなくても 海は問題無く見ることができました。 ビーチに建てられている棟は、リノベーション中で今年の春か秋にリニューアルオープンとのことでした。 3箇所あるプールの内の一つもメンテナンス中でクローズでしたが、ビーチに最も近いプールは 小さいですがインフィニティプールです。 このクラスのホテルが、朝食抜き・日本円で5〜7,000円ならば リピート有りですよね。(朝食は 300tb、タイ料理と洋食がそれぞれ3種類づつ。私は、ふた朝エスプレッソだけを飲みに行ったら サービスだとして請求されませんでした。) 周辺には 素敵な飲食店もありますが、車でおみえにならない方は レンタカー・レンタルバイク・Taxi・Grabなどの手配をお忘れなく。 ちなみに バンチャン市街地までは グラブタクシーで、日中は 往復300tb・夜間は 500tbでした。 ラヨーン県バンチャン地区に宿泊するな らば、私的にはお勧めです。タイ 最高!!
