Hotel has seen it's better days

Pros: Service Staff was good and the view was very good.
Cons: 1. Improve TV channel selection from just 1-channel 2. Improve WiFi reception & Infinity Hotel needs to invest into the building/room updates
Location: The hotel is well positioned on Av. Boa Viagem for walking to the beach, restaurants and the area is very pretty.
I stayed at Bao Viagem Praia Hotel several time during the past several years but on this visit it was clear that the hotel has seen it's better days. shower is dirty, lamps hang from the wall mounts, 1-channel TV, WiFi in the Room is inconsistent and non-functional. If you want to use your computer you will need to go downstairs to the lobby. The elevator stopped working at 5:45 pm on March 30th requiring that I walk up 4 flights of stairs. The long and narrow hallway was so dark that I needed to use a flashlight to negotiate the hallway and while waiting for the elevators. The bar is very lightly stocked with only about 4 or 5 choices of liquor. The service proved by the staff was good and they were responsive and timely to my request for additional pillows and blanket. The front Sea facing room did provide a good view of the beach and Boa Viagem. The overall condition of the Hotel I felt was disappointing and that the 3-Star rating is a stretch.

Good location

Pros: location at beach and near Boa Viagem Square
The hotel is acceptable when you get a discounted rate. If you have to pay full price it is not worth it . It needs to be updated. At least items that are broken should be fixed, broken handles at cabinets do not make a good first impression

Old hotel

The staff os very helpful. Breakfast wad good too. But the building and rooms need a upgrade. Overall it was ok. But the hotel needs a overhaul.

Nice hotel, but not the best

Pros: The location
Cons: The room was too small
Location: It was perfect. Very close to the airport.
The hotel is across the street from the beach. The rooms are ok. A bit too small. The breakfast was ok.

Do Not Stay In This Hotel

Why an old hotel has to be a BAD hotel?, I have stayed on old hotels and they were nice, some refurbished, and others updated, this hotel in RECIFE, is far from been considered a 3 stars, old and not maintained, dirty walls in the room, the room smell, as the air conditioning system too, they really do not care about the hotel, the elevators really remember the twilight zone, the one in a theme park, you do feel you are going fall down, the staff really not ready for help you with your needs, i do not recommend to anyone to stay, just choose another pay more but do not go in to this hotel.

Pool closed.

Pros: doughnut type things at breakfast
Cons: discoloured water in pool/pool closure
Location: on beachfront as stated, beach didn't look great for swimming (sharks).
We chose this hotel because it had a pool. The pool was shut and looked horrible (water colour). The safes in the hotel were on the whole useless, we tried three in three different rooms, all were unusable either because no locking mechanism or locked shut. The hotel however did eventually offer us the use of their safe after two fruitless hours of trying to solve the problem. Everything else was fine.

Fair hotel for the money you pay.
