Best Resorts in Red Creek

"The outside mountain views were amazing. There were deer in the area. The cabin was extremely clean and nice. It was decorated just right and made us feel at home. The kitchen had everything necessary plus extras if needed. The coffee maker was ready as well as a nice grinder. Amenities were numerous and appreciated. The gas fireplace was delightful. The large deck was nice and there was an outdoor fire pit. The property is all to itself with plenty of privacy to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountain outdoors. There are great hikes nearby, including Seneca Rocks, Chimney Top, and Dolly Sods. Cheetah B's restaurant in Petersburg is great. I would highly recommend this property for a lovely getaway in the mountains. It snowed a bit on the last two days of our stay, which made the views even better. The host was very good and communicated well. I will definitely keep The Rusty Lantern in mind for future West Virginia trips. Excellent"

"All of the above. We found the cabin to be clean and cozy offering exactly what we needed for our stay. The bunk bed and upstairs mattresses were comfortable ( did not use the third bedroom). Loved the hot tub. "

"Very old building (I believe we read that it was constructed in 1856) with character. Nicely remodeled/ updated interior. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and the sound of the creek, as well as the proximity to state parks. Good communication from owner. Would recommend."

"What a unique house! The location was beautiful. But the best part was all the crazy Knick Knacks. Every nook and cranny had some kind of doll or statue or things I had no idea what it was. So many beautiful things from around the world. Half the fun was trying to find them all. The bathrooms all had full stone showers. Not tile, but stone slabs. This was such a fun house to stay in. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have small children, but it’s a must for adults. The kitchen had top of the line appliances. Beds were comfy. "

I asked her a million questions!! LRCBNB makes you want to leave the world behind and get back to basics! Life as it should be. Cannot wait ti visit again!!!"
