central location for us

Pros: The location was convenient for us, we were attending an event in this area.
Cons: update the rooms
Location: Went to the Lockdown Escape rooms nearby
The hotel was clean and staff were friendly, the lady in the buffet area was very accommodating and helpful. The bed was comfortable but the bathtub was in rough shape. Need some updates. We have stayed here a number of times over the years and nothing has changed at all.

well located older hotel.

Cons: Coffee in the room was awful.
Quiet and comfortable. Good Value. A bit dated in parts but updated where it counts (new TV, bedding etc).

Have stayed here before and will again as its located centrally. Had some problems with check in as my name was wrong from expedia but expedia was quick to help.

Two Night Conference Stay

Pros: The staff and free breakfast.
Cons: Would have liked a flat screen TV.
Location: Located on Gaetz Avenue so easy access to everything in Red Deer.
We were attending a conference at another hotel but booked a room at the Baymont Inn to save money. The stay was peaceful, comfortable, staff friendly & accommodating, with a hot breakfast included. But the thing that impressed me the most was when I attempted to login to the public computers in the lobby and went to the desk for assistance a man standing in front of the desk asked if I needed something. When I told him of my problem he went to the computers, crawled under the desk to jiggle wires, and didn't give up until he had the computer operational. A few moments later the desk clerk came over and asked me if everything was okay, telling me that the person who had just helped me was the owner of the hotel. No wonder that the staff are accommodating when they have leadership like that.

Comfortable Place To Stay

Location: Located on the edge of downtown. Just a few blocks drive to shopping and restaurants.
Room was pretty good (bathtub drain stopper didn't work) and very clean. Hotel is comfortable but wish there was a dinning facility. The pool and courtyard very good.

Very noisy A/C system

Great family hotel, with bunk beds!

Pros: Very family friendly and quiet
Cons: Continental breakfast didn't have as many options as other hotels
Location: Location was good for what we did in town. Nice and close to sports hall of fame!
The room was a tad small for a family of four but was set up perfectly with the space that was there. The kids had their own "room" with bunk beds. We were nice and close to the pool and since it's salt water no chlorine smell!

A good place for a team

We travelled with a U10 and U12 soccer team and the girls had a great time. Good breakfast which was included and a fun little pool that was very well used at the end of the day. Nice central location across the street from a grocery store was useful as well. Staff very pleasant and willing to help out if needed. No issues at all there. Pool is in a courtyard surrounded by rooms so if you want to be asleep before 10pm, choose a room that does not face pool.

I left my IPad in the room and when I got home that's when I realized I left it behind, the hotel staff found it and turned it in to the front desk and I had a friend pick it up for me. The room itself was good but the heater/air conditioner was so loud it was impossible to get a good nights sleep.

We were very disappointed with our room!

Pros: The front desk decor & restaurant lloked good.
Cons: Don't use the room we stayed in until it's been redone.
The room was a huge disappointment-rugs filthy dirty that we didn't even want to take our shoes off,plastic over smoke alarm, burned out lights, walls needing painting-don't think this room should be used until it;s been redone. And a very stale smell in room -almost like it maybe used to be a smoking room??
