Nice hotel close to the beach

Wonderful hotel. Step out the room onto your private patio on the beach. Reserved beach cabanas and lounge chairs can adied bonus. The 24 hour buffet is amazing. Make sure to check out the free guided hikes through the mountains. Try the included skiing lessons.

The hotel is under new ownership, which is great!

Hotel will be undergoing a total reno! Including the pool! For now they are providing guests with free passes to the leisure center near by. Everyone was very friendly and the lemon water by the front desk was super good!!! My kids couldn't get enough.

Location: Very easy to get to off the highway, a nice restaraunt just across the street, convenience stores and Tim Hortons within a few minute walk.
They were able to give us adjoining rooms! This feature is so nice when traveling with a group of friends or a large family. :) The staff were so accommodating. We needed a late check out on one of our rooms and the front desk staff and the cleaning staff were all very understanding and encouraging. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel was just ok

When I booked it was for the water slides for my grandkids. Had I known the pool was under renovation I would not have booked it. There are plenty other hotels right there that have working pools. The hotel seemed tired and in need of a face-lift in the rooms. The free Breakfast was good with hot choices.

I understand why your stay was not up to your expectations. What was to be a minor pool renovations turned into a major renovations due to serve damage that was discovered and totally unexpected.

Hotel is easy to get to off Hwy 2. Good morning breakfast in clouded in the already affordable price. Bed was comfortable & room was very spacious. Restaurants. and pubs located within walking distance.

Try somewhere else...

The room we were first given upon arrival had dirty towels hanging in the bathroom still...so we asked to be switched to a clean room. The front desk employee was great and without hesitation gave us a different room. The second room was better...but the room wasn't overly clean...bathroom door had lipstick smeared on it and was dirty...carpets were stained...air conditioner sucked. This place needs a GOOD scrubbing top to bottom. It feels old and neglected. The pool wasn't open either...and it wasn't open a year and a half before that when we last stayed there. Strange coincident or it's been closed for a long time. There are so many other choices for hotels in Red Deer that I can guarantee we won't be back to the Comfort Inn.

Thank you for bringing to our attention about the room not being cleaned properly. This was brought to the attention of our housekeeping staff. Our pool is going through a major renovation now. We normally have our pool shut done around Christmas time for yearly maintenance. Sorry for the inconvience.

The beds were not at all comfortable, woke up with a sore back. Never been to a hotel where everything on the bed including the bed cover was extremely wrinkled. Breakfast room staff were helpful and friendly.

Sorry to hear that you did not have a comfortable sleep. The issue about the wrinkled bed cover was brought to housekeeping attendants. I apologise for not responding sooner but has issues with windows 10 upgrade that prevented me from replying which has now been resolved
