too far from downtownPosted Sep 3, 2015
Pros: staff were very accommodating
Cons: have a 'cut-off' time for loud noise
Location: Parkland mall
found this hotel too far from the real action on Gaetz...Bower Mall, Value Village, Michael's, Reitmans, etc. There was also a language barrier. I found the staff couteous, but hard to understand at times (they were East Indian).

Excellent choice of hotel and great locationPosted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Staff, location, fresh coffee 24 hours, and of course the waffle maker!!
Cons: Doors to the rooms were very hard to open and close.
Location: perfect location. On the main road (Gatez) Boston Pizza right beside hotel.
Fantastic experience! Hotel and staff were very accommodating and helpful. My best friend and I plus our kids (ages 4, 6 and 8) had an amazing stay at this hotel. Upgraded our 2 queen room to a full family room equipped with a full kitchen, sitting room, kitchen table plus two queen beds and a cot for a very reasonable price. Staff were all friendly and happy to help us with whatever we needed. And trust me the five of us were a noisy handful..(which included jumping on the sofas in the front lobby.. opps!) The kids were very impressed with the waffle maker during the morning breakfast (massive Belgian style waffles with yummy syrup), delicious coffee and the TV playing the morning news hit the spot for my friend and I. Also, Boston Pizza was conveniently located beside the Super 8.

Terrible, everything was terriblePosted Aug 12, 2015
Whole hotel smelled like the restaurant and overuse of men's cologne! Someone was smoking weed in a room as we walked by and management didn't seem to care. Cigarette ashes on patio of non-smoking room. Hole in blanket on bed. No water pressure. A/c was pathetic.

Pros: It had room for the six of us. It was very affordable.
Cons: A real renovation of walls and flooring. The smell of carpet cleaner was strong.
We booked same day on Expedia and got a kitchenette that had two queen and a fold out couch to fit my friend, myself and both of our two older children. We were in Red Deer for Mud Hero.

Manager made all the differencePosted Aug 4, 2015
Other than a way-too-small bath tub, our stay was comfortable and worth the price. I had a flat tire and the manager called in his staff to out the spare tire on for me.. Allowing our trip to remain close to on schedule. I would definitely stay there again.

Reasonable location for my stay.Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: Handy to downtown and it was far enough North, a person could easily get out of town without fighting a lot of traffic.
Cons: TV listings in every room and better air conditioner.
Location: Coras, some other restaurants a shopping not too far!
The air conditioner did not perform its cooling trend. It would have been great to have a TV list of channels and what they had on them. Workers using this hotel and were loud and rowdy one evening! Breakfast provided, but little Gluten free!

ReasonablePosted Aug 2, 2015
Only needed a comfortable bed for a good night sleep for one night. Bed clean and comfortable and quiet location. Tub was rusty and dripping constantly but didn't bother me. Air conditioner only worked on fan, but even though it was a hot day it was sufficient for me. Would stay again.

Perfect location for our reason for being in Red DPosted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: The employees
Cons: New owners and they are going to be doing a lot of renos. This motel was built in the 70's and has a lot of upgrading to be done.
Location: This was an excellent location as only a short distance from where the relatives live. Came out for a family wedding from Penticton
The motel matched the price that I paid for it. It was clean and the staff were great. I was late for breakfast, actually 35 mins, but they let me go ahead with anything to eat that was still available. That definitely would not have been allowed anywhere else.

You get what you pay forPosted Jul 26, 2015
No elevators. If you like to hear people fighting in the parking lot or people banging on your door on their way to their room then this is the hotel for you.
