Cheap hotel Decent location

Posted Nov 21, 2015
Pros: breakfast, clean bathrooms, nice people
Cons: Its a cheap hotel, and it doesn't always hide it. Thin walls, loud floors, varied room quality
Location: 10 minute walk to food places, ~15-20 minute walk to Gants hill tube station. Good starting point for the person wanting to explore London.
Stayed here with a group of 7, we had three rooms and they all varied in quality. One was quite nice, the other two less so but all were fine for a cheap hotel. Bathrooms were much nicer than expected, beds were fine. Thin walls and floors mean the rooms are not quiet and you can always hear people walking around the hotel. There were some occasional sketchy looking men in/around the hotel that made some of the girls uncomfortable at times, but nothing ever happened. The front desk person was always nice. Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good, with eggs sausage hash browns, bread, cereal, etc. I would recommend this hotel as a cheap place to sleep at in-between long days out in the city, but not as a place to stay in for long periods of time or relax in. Good for the traveler, not so much for the vacationer. Served its purpose well either way. Its about a 10 minute walk to a lot of food places, and about 15-20 minutes to Gants Hill tube station which is a direct route to the center of London and is a good starting place to go anywhere via the tube in london.

Rapport qualité prix intéressant

Posted Oct 22, 2015

Noisy, cramped and uncomfortable

Posted Oct 11, 2015
In the hotel, screaming kids (walls too thin). Outside, main road, very busy and noisy all night all early hours, police sirens, taxi drop offs, shouting people, you name it. Very small room and restroom. Toilet seat was broken. Nowhere to hang clothes in restroom. Bed very uncomfortable, pillows made of air (very thin). Positively, clean, decent location - close to transport. The biggest positive (that made it all better) was the breakfast! All you can eat, and delicious (even though it was halal).

Pleasantly surprised

Posted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Location, large car park at the back, good breakfast.
Cons: Some rooms still need redecoration but workmen were all over, so looks like in hand.
Location: Convenient cheap stay for central London and access to Olympic Stadium
We had read varying reviews on this hotel, so we're not expecting much, but were pleasantly surprised. We had booked 2 twin rooms for a very reasonable rate and thought they would be very basic. One room had a double + single bed, was a very large room and had obviously recently been decorated to a good standard. The TV was great with many channels, tea/coffee making and small, but ample bathroom. No problem getting on wifi as others had stated. The other room had not been decorated, so guess is due to bed one soon. Still reasonable with twin beds and same facilities, although looked quite tired and in need of a refresh. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Bus stop right outside for access to Gants Hill tube. Staff were all very pleasant.

Its ok but very noisy

Posted Oct 4, 2015
Pros: Location, price and staff
Cons: Better sound proofing
Location: Very easy commute into central London
The staff at this hotel were lovely and we found them to be very hospitable but there is so much noise. We stayed for three nights and were exhausted by the end of it. The rooms are good and have everything that you need but we could hear every time next door used the toilet. One of the guests had a huge argument at 2 am (not the hotel's fault) but that kept us up until 4am. Its a great location and really good value so I would recommend it but not for the light sleepers

Goedkoop, ver buiten het centrum liggend hotel

Posted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Aardig personeel.
Location: Ligt ver buiten het centrum van Londen, metrostation gant hill ligt op 10min loopafstand en treinstation op 20 min loopafstand. supermarkt in de buurt
Goedkoop hotel, aardig personeel. Onderhoud zeer slecht, gaten in de vloerbedekking, boorgaten niet gevuld, vlekken in de gordijnen. Badkamer zag er wel netjes uit, iedere dag schone handdoeken en bed netjes opgemaakt. Wifi is zeer slecht.

No es un Hotel, es una fonda.

Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Nada
Cons: Todo
