Try Beverly for a very nice massage. Pretty good restaurant.

Everything (room, reception, pool and restaurant) rated very good except noisy A/C unit in room.

Cozy hotel

I liked this hotel very much; there were only a few small things that irritated me. First, I was staying there to study and relax the night before my board exam. When I came into the room and turned on all the lights, it was quite dim. Not the best for reading or studying, even though there's a desk. There was also a slight bit of mold on my shower curtain... Then the ice maker wasn't working and the outside temp was in the 90's. Thank goodness the AC worked wonderfully! Otherwise, I liked it.

I was expecting a better stay because of the reviews. It wasnt bad i just dont like staying at motels. The room was outdated. It might be the only place to stay in the area but they could remodel or update it.

close to redding and shasta lake

Pros: restaurant was off the hook. very pleased.
Location: we stayed here as a base for mt shasta exploring and shasta lake. whiskeytown was close and a family fun factory.
check in was fast and complimentary chocolate chip cookies. check out was leave keys in room. nice setting with the lagoon and river nearby.

Relaxing environment!

The staff was great! Super helpful and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Good place, terrible staff

We stayed at the hotel for our overnight stop before Crater Lake. The room was decent but the old lady at the reception was extremely bad spoken. When we were doing the checkin she mentioned "don't damage the room" multiple times, who does that? More things what she said were "don't run in the room", "don't play", "no party". Well I think a responsible person will never do that, if you are that afraid to give your hotel room away then you are in the wrong business.

All was great with the hotel except the meal at the restaurant was overly priced for the quality of the food.
