You get what you paid for...

Posted Aug 20, 2017
Pros: Wasn't hard to find.
Cons: Quit being cheap. It's the small things that matter. Be mindful that there are some Guests who will carry with them unwanted things, that remain.
Location: Location was the only positive. right along the main road, Not much to do, it's a smaller city, but lots of shopping and food options close by.
Went to bed fine, woke up with legs red and itchy with what looked like small insect bites. Elevator in need of maintenance, as a room in close proximity allowed the benefit of knowing when it was going up and down, without much effort. Which works wonders for the sleep, since people come and go at all hours. No amenities you would find in a hotel, but they were happy to add them to the vending machine on the main floor. Of course, in this day and age, not many people carry a lot of $1 bills. So, it was easier to run down to the neighboring store and get sample sizes... cheaper too. And, to top off my trip, in order to get my morning coffee, which, generally, starts me moving... I had to make my way down to the lobby.

worst bed I've ever slept on!

Posted Aug 8, 2017
Pros: The staff was very friendly. One lady gave me a tea bag of her own because they didn't have tea as an option. The heating/ac unit was very quiet.
Cons: Carpet would be nice. 4 pillows instead of just 2! More bedding besides just a really thin comforter. Lamps instead of institutional wall sconces.
The room was clean, however the overall feel of the room was awful! It felt like I was in a dorm room. A I have to say the heating/ ac was really quiet compared to most systems. There wasn't a clock or a coffee machine. The bed was like sleeping on concrete!

Clean motel with basic amenities

Posted Jul 23, 2017
No frills. No breakfast. No hair dryer. Bed was large and comfortable. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Nice place to rest up for the rest of your trip. Redmond and Bend are beautiful.

Very clean room...but the beds were very uncomfortable... minimal stuff in room no blow dryer no soap or shampoo type of stuff. Would have to be desperate to stay there again.

Great Hotel!

Posted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: Pleasant front desk staff, comfortable bed, good location.
Cons: N/A
Location: In the middle of so much!
We arrived in town after 11:30 pm and planned an early morning hike at Smith Rock State Park. The person who greeted us at the front desk was pleasant (even at that late hour) and very helpful. Arranged for a late checkout so we could shower after our hike! The rate was economical, our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower refreshing! Plenty of room to roam around the room without feeling crowded. No frills, but no frills needed! It was exactly what we wanted.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, ease of check-in, and well trained and helpful staff. Have stayed in more expensive hotels/motels which were not nearly as nice. Great value for the money!

Booked on Expedia. Expedia said get senior citizen discount at hotel. Hotel says Expedia has to do it, so two seniors weren't able to get the discount, no matter who we talked to. Therefore, even it was a nicer place than most Motel Sixes, we won't stay there again. With or without a discount, it was pretty expensive for a Motel 6 out in the middle of Oregon.

It was great for a Motel 6. We usually avoid the chain because they can be kind of sketchy.
