Nice hotel close to airport

Posted Nov 15, 2017
Appreciate being able to spend the night, leave my car for duration of my trip , have a good breakfast with excellent coffee, be shuttled to airport, and back upon return. All adds to good travel experience

Thank you for providing your feedback. We are excited to be undergoing renovations very soon, which will completely revive our guest rooms.. We do hope however, that you enjoyed our new beds, bedding package, artwork, and custom leather desk task chairs. Additionally, we were in the process of upgrading our television channel package during your stay, and now have triple the number of channels that were previously available. We hope you will return and see our ongoing changes, and again, thank you for your feedback.

front desk staff was great. Not sure why my final bill did not match the quote when I booked.

It was "fine"

Posted Oct 1, 2017
Pros: Location. Good mattress.
Cons: see comments above
Location: It's Bend...there's a lot to do if you're an outdoor enthusiast
When you're dead tired and traveling at midnight, this place works fine if you're looking for a place under $100. The bed was comfy, pillows flat and in need of replacement, bathroom was clean (standard Super 8 quality), the air worked fine, it's next to the railroad tracks so that is loud at times, there was a funny smell (like cat pee) in the room...not sure where that came from, the building and facilities are newer so they are nicer, the check-in lady was a bit odd - "I know you paid for your room on Expedia, but I need your card so I can have it in case you destroy my room." Um. I'm a fat 47 y.o. guy in a polo and jeans at midnight ready to fall asleep at the counter - not exactly your room-trashing candidate, but I get a lecture from this 19 y.o. about how I might trash the room? WTH? Anyway...it's fine if you need a few hours to sleep. I've had far worse than this.

Thank you Wade, for letting us know of your experience with us at the Super 8 of Redmond. We are glad to hear that the location worked well for you, and the bed was comfy. I do apologize for the credit card incidental requirement and the way it was explained. This is not the way we speak to our guests, and I will most definitely speak to our front desk agent. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Hotel location is convenient and staff is friendly. The hotel condition is actually better than I expected. One of the concerns is that the hotel is located right beside the railway; the trains are extremely noisy during night.

Thank you for staying with us, we appreciate your business. We apologize for the train noise, typically they do not operate very often in the evenings. We do have the other side of the hotel that is a bit quieter for your future stays. Thank you once again for staying with us.

Worst choice for hotel at an expensive price

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: Nothing
I've already written to Expedia about the terrible experience we had. Someone had blood on their car in the parking lot, the hotel was unclean, smelled of marijuana, and the shower was ridden with mold, the food was terrible. The only good thing was the hallways smelled nice. The actual hotel made our pillows stink and they never rid their smell. Awful.

Your feedback is appreciated, however inaccurate.. We do not have mold in our hotel, our hotel is very clean, and our food is more extensive than most continental breakfast options. Travelers tend to critique a bit more when the rate of their stay is not within their budget. Please consider Central Oregon is a destination in the summer time. If you are looking for cheap hotel stays, summer is not the time for you to visit.

Available, reasonable price

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Friendly,helpful staff.
Cons: Carpets and furniture a little tired
Location: Convenient to highway, a little far from center of town (beyond walking distance)
Most hotels in town were near capacity and had "jacked up" their prices. This hotel held to its regular rates.
